What kind of grades did you get in High school?
-
A’s occasional b’s in French
-
Hey D’s get degrees.
and I’m not talkin about grades...
-
Pretty bad, seeing as I never did homework and always showed up late. Passed my tests though.
-
I get As and Bs mostly... but Spanish is coming up soon I think...
-
Mostly Cs and Bs. A few few under and a few over, nothing special though.

80% A's and 19% B with one C from a world history class freshman year. I took lots of AP classes though, imo they're only worth taking because the subject matter is more interesting and the teachers are better. Also classmates aren't idiots... except AP Psych because everyone took that.

Not going to lie, B

Passing. Nothing was hard, yet I never felt the need to actually do the work well. My most common complaint was that ‘Well, yeah, I know that but...it’s so much wasted effort to just right it down.’ I spent most of my time being depressed so, it was hard to just do stuff if I didn’t already feel like it
-
1 ReplyI mostly failed high school, because 80% of the grades were based on homework, which I loathed. I aced every single test I took, didn't matter because of grade weighting though.
-
71 percent of people are lying.

Edited by Blargwahar: 1/6/2018 12:56:59 AMStraight A's aren't hard to get. If OffTopic isn't lying, the proof is right here. Sure, it looks good on a college application, but it's all about the extracurricular activities. Sports, clubs, honors societies, even becoming an active volunteer will increase your chances of getting into a competitive school.
But straight A's for me in all honors and AP classes. Well, technically they are IB classes if anyone knows what they are, but where I'm at, I'm not sure if they get credit for honors AND AP, or just one. I'm getting mixed messages, but if they count as both, my weighted GPA for this school year will be a 5.0
-
A's and B's, but mostly A's.
-
Edited by Spicy Water: 1/6/2018 2:01:12 AMAs someone still in high school, probably on the higher end of a B average. Mostly B’s, and I get more A’s than C’s
I did get a D in a class one time, but I try to ignore that
-
i assumed D bc idk the system
-
I barely graduated with honors.
-
Mostly B's and C's with the occasional A
-
In my senior year right now. Usually got As Bs and Cs very occasional Ds, not proud at all but it is what it is. My last quarter however was just As and Bs so I'm proud of that.
-
Edited by Tobito_TheGod: 1/6/2018 2:29:00 AMB cause i don't try much. I do the homework, that's about it. If i actually study i can get A's with ease.
-
I got straight A's, but then when I graduated I learned that it's more important to just be able to throw a football to colleges.
-
So far, straight a's

Edited by FishBlues: 1/6/2018 5:01:16 AMI had no directions in high school I was too caught up in a thing with a girl and we broke up... I didn’t handle it well..... I graduated with straight Cs on the most minimum plan available... it was easy stuff... just didn’t care... now that I’m in college and pay for my classes... I know what I want to do with my life so I have a 3.8 GPA so far (so mostly As)...
I still get drunk too much though..
The professors should consider the students feelings when grading their papers. This actually happened.

In my high school if you show up and turn in your work, you basically have an A right there. There's no real standards, so I slacked off big time and found out in my first semester in college that shit don't fly. I've got the feeling my school was pumping up numbers to get more funding for the new programs and initiatives. I was for no particular reason awarded 2nd best STEM student in the school at some swanky ceremony, despite us not even having one established yet. I wasn't even close to worth earning it, my Physics teacher just picked me randomly. If you've got the choice between AP classes in your high-school and actually taking them at a community college, go to the college. It might be worth half a damn.

Recently, I got Straight A's for the end of my Freshman 1st Semester in High School.
