To me most titan armor looks ridiculous. Not a fan of the gigantic shoulder armor look. If they would let you shade the blue armor and get the stats up to par, I would rock it.

YES! Bungie needs to make a way for us to convert blues into legendary versions. Even if it was like forge & we needed materials I’d still do it.
-
It's a shame really. All that work designing that cool looking armor and you wind up wearing it for 20 minutes til you get higher level armor, put that on for 20 minutes til you get higher level stuff, switch to that etc. until you get legendary armor. You just go through it so quick until you get the legendary stuff. Maybe they'll bring it back as legendary armor someday like they did in D1.

I have a nice armor set. Crucible mark, devastation complex and lion rampant. All metro shift. Or all crucible armor with ornaments Calus selected shader
-
A lot of the games rare armor is better aesthetically than the higher tiers imo Same happened with D1. Had hoped there’d be a way to convert the rares at some point, simply due to creating varieties of guardian instead of everyone looking the damned same
-
Rare armor and weapon on average has been better looking in all of destiny
-
Titans are supposed to be big and bulky IMO

Edited by Antosino: 1/22/2018 4:46:52 PMI don't know who it was or what they said and it could be completely harmless, and no disrespect to the OP, but when you look at the state of the game and these forums and then notice this post (and/or other posts like it) are the only ones with a "Moderator replied!" flag on them... I dunno, man.

Absolutely! Why don't they reskin some existing blue weapons and armor, and make them legendary, instead of duplicating the pre existing legendaries we already have?
-
Rhythm Nation is best nation. I want armor that's 90% shoulder pads.

5 RepliesEdited by Guts33n: 1/4/2018 9:33:08 PMI roll with this, looks good by me. https://imgur.com/a/Fw7gR

Crucible set looks best imo

Crucible armor with golden Trace

Edited by PROPl-lET: 1/10/2018 8:00:51 AMGo to titan and look at what the vendor is selling. Her arms are the most normal looking arms for titans in destiny. I've been using them since day 1. They are also the smallest arms for titans in destiny 2.
-
You make some valid points and i agree that EverVerse must be removed from the game.

2 RepliesI just wish they'd add a subslot in for cosmetic armor. I have no idea why they don't do this. If they are framing Destiny to be part MMO, then they should know that part of the fun in MMOs or RPGs in general is to make your character look the way you want without having to sacrifice stats. It is really not that hard of a concept to incorporate. And, the fact that they released armor ornaments shows that they have the ability to do it and the knowledge that players like to change the way their characters look. It would be really cool to incorporate new cosmetic armor pieces that drop from activities or off random mobs and allow them to be slotted in a subslot of their correlating armor.

2 RepliesEdited by autistic_lion22: 1/9/2018 8:24:25 PMAlot of people say to switch to female, but they're too skinny for me. They don't really look like space knights, they look like female Hunters with no cape. I have a perfect Titan setup that makes my Titan look like a Warden Knight from For Honor running around with Crown-Splitter. Male aesthetic seems bulky/slender, and just sounds cooler with an intimidating voice.

You can shader the blue armor. And it can drop at 330.
-
1 ReplyI honestly don't see why there isnt a system to turn any blue into legendary. Even make it stupid expensive. 10,000 glimmer, 100 legendary shards, plus some conversion core only available with Xur. It would be basically the same as them adding another mod slot to masterwork weapons. Give the weapons a 10% stat jump, add a perk..even if it is static per weapon

1 ReplyYeah, a lot of Titan armor just looks dumb. I like the Lost Pacific arms, but several of the blue-grade arms look good too. A lot of the leg armor looks "meh" as well. In fact, a lot of the chest pieces don't look too nice, either. Off the three classes, the Titan is the one that most needs to be returned to the D1 aesthetics. I can tolerate a few armor sets that looks like a JRPG puked on my monitor, but I'd like to have the other end of the spectrum as well. The HULKING PAULDRONS get old very fast. So much so that I'd really like to have the people that made the art decisions give an interview to justify themselves, because they need to.

1 ReplyEdited by leukoplast: 1/9/2018 11:01:25 PMAlong the sane lines, I kinda would like to have a legendary version of the super minimalist hunter cloak (white rarity). Its basically just a scarf and nothing hanging out the back. Makes for a nice look on many different armor setups.
-
I also hate the giant shoulders
-
1 ReplyThe only Titan armor set I like is the green firebreak one.
-
1 ReplyTitan looks beast in iron banner armor with the saint-14 helm.
-
3 RepliesTitan makes look like bulky gorillas in armor. The females look better in the gear and yes most of the gear are fugly but the shoulders aren’t as big on the female bodies and there’re a few that don’t look too bad.
-
1 ReplyDisagree entirely. The Titan actually looks like a soldier in Destiny 2. He looks formidable and intimidating with his bulky frame. Go be a Hunter if you dont like big shoulder pads

Edited by SpecialKDude: 1/6/2018 2:24:46 PMYa me neither. Titans look like a bunch of goons in destiny 2. Doesn’t help when they added animal fur in the back lmao
