Drop power level? How to determine that?

Hi guardians, here's what: I have two characters, warlock 330 and huntress 330 Why the blue drops and legendary engrams I get with my warlock are around 323-324 while they're 326-328 with my huntress ?

  • One thing to keep in mind is that there is BASE power level and MODDED power level. Your drops are based only on BASE power level. Another possible reason is that, your base power is also affected by items in your inventory that are not equipped. So if one of your characters has a trashy sidearm that has higher power level but is not equipped because it is terrible, your BASE light level for drops could be slightly higher.

  • Open dim ( destiny item manager) and look at the real power level of the character. Modded items add power level but are not counted in drop levels. A 330 cha with no mods is a real 330. A 330 with mods will be a 327 or so most likely. Dim shows the real power level in the char bar Check it out.
