So, I got a copy of Battlefront II. I have a disc. Why would I not just be able to play the game when I pop the disc into the tray? What’s going on here?. Is this the standard now? Do you have to install a game even if you have a disc?
And for some context, The last time I bought a physical disc was for the Xbox 360. And the only games I have bought since then were the Destiny games and I got them both digitally.

1 ReplyThe way I hear it, games are too big now to actually fit on the Blu-Ray. The disc will speed up the installation process, but beyond that, it functions more like a key. One of the nice things about the Switch using cartridges. Cartridges, of course, are more expensive to make.
