So, I got a copy of Battlefront II. I have a disc. Why would I not just be able to play the game when I pop the disc into the tray? What’s going on here?. Is this the standard now? Do you have to install a game even if you have a disc?
And for some context, The last time I bought a physical disc was for the Xbox 360. And the only games I have bought since then were the Destiny games and I got them both digitally.

9 RepliesWelcome to next-gen gaming, where you have to wait 4 hours for your game to install and THEN have to wait another hour for an update to install. Once that's done, you have to sign in to your account in-game which takes about 20 or so minutes and then once that's all done, you can finally play your $60 game. Gone are the days of you simply putting in a disc and having the game start up.
