Im going to post this to as many first page Remove Eververse posts as possible.
Let me explain something to you, and maybe you will see why spamming the forums won't work. The only way Eververse will ever be removed, is if it no longer is profitable. Its that simple. You could spam 100 forum pages with "Remove Eververse", and it will do NOTHING, as long as people spend money in game. What you really need to do, is find a way to get people to stop spending money in game. That won't be easy, and is likely why everybody tried spamming the forums, because its easy. Convincing everybody to stop spending will take time, effort, and rational well presented facts to support your stand. After that, it will take finding, and using, every available method of getting it out to people. Simply sending messages saying "you dumb ass quit buying from Tess", (I have gotten those just cashing in an earned bright engram), will not help either, nor will spamming the forums with "Don't buy from Eververse". You need to use tact and facts to change things, and you need to put some effort and work into as well. You also need to respect the fact that some people do not mind spending money for things, and need to find a way to explain to them, respectfully, why it hurts the game community.
Find the way to convince people to quit spending, you will see Eververse no longer a part of Destiny.
If you, and everybody else that spammed the forums can not see that, nothing will change.

I beg to differ, as words will always retain their power. Given the right words, a forum can lead to vast changes. I.e., starting a boycott on said forum, stirring up more public/community interest, and educating the consumers, which will lead inexorably to the to your aforementioned argument that Eververse will only be extinguished if it becomes non profitable.

Except most of the games player base will never come to the forums. Given how Destiny 2 is a more casual game it's safe to say most of it's player base won't know about the controversy going on right now. My niece plays when she finishes work but is as casual as they come, she doesn't check any news or the forums. She didn't know people had an issue with the eververse at all. That means all those players not checking this will still be paying money to the eververse and keeping activisions profit margin happy.
-
or we say to bungie NO THE BANK IS CLOSED! and they melt into a blob and activision absorbs them into the collective and they become something more EVIL! than they are now some next level crap.
-
This. People who play Bungie's sick game by spamming bright or dawning engrams for real money... they are the true cancer of Destiny. And that cancer is approaching terminal status. I upgraded mainly for this game... anyone wanna buy a slightly used PS4?
-
Have faith, my friend. I know it seems rough now, but be patient.
-
A destiny 2 game director already came out to address the issue not to long ago so yeah going on forums and all that stuff did help. It's the same case that happened with EA's star wars battlefront 2 problem, players were outraged about their overly aggressive loot box system so they went on forums, "complained" And look what happened, they're not even in the game anymore. So as long as they have us in their ears and not just playing their game then they have a problem on their hands that they need to fix
-
Disney were the driving force in what happened to Battlefront 2 to save their image in the media, this isn't on the same scale nor does it have a Disney that owns the IP and can force change. It's like some of you see a bit of news but miss the important parts.
-
Haha it was EA making those decisions not Disney. Disney was pissed at EA for doing That so close to the release of the new star wars. I know my facts, and yes they are facts, I'm not just making it up as I go haha
-
If EA didn't have Disney pissed at them they wouldn't have changed anything. Disney owns the rights to Star Wars, EA only "rents" it. If Disney pull that license then EA loses a hell of a lot of money. If you think EA would have made the same decision without Disney's influence then you are more naive than I thought.
-
These are just your thoughts Man, I legit know what happened so don't try to pull whatever you're trying to pull right now. It was EA they made all the decision within that game and Disney was close to stripping them of their rights with star wars. Go research before making things up

You know absolutely nothing. Sounds like you maybe read a half arsed article from somewhere like Kotaku and think you're clued up but sadly, not even close.
-
Hahah exactly what I thought.. next time don't try to correct someone with false information. That's just craziness

Edited by i_PWND_superman: 12/23/2017 8:18:01 PMShow me where you got YOUR information, my information is everywhere. Type "EA loot boxes" in anywhere oh and Disney is never brought up to be the bad guy, it's cuz they said fu ck EA for doing what they did. I'm here not lying to you Man, you're here lying to yourself
-
I'm legit letting you know facts. It's even a silly thought to think Disney had their hand in star wars battle front 2 loot boxes. Think about the lies you're saying. I read multiple full articles and watched many and many YouTube videos of professionals stating facts like, oh what do you know EA was the soul cause of the backlash on loot boxes? Hm sounds like what I'm saying. Dude again, I'm, letting, you, know, you're, wrong. I would not be on here educating you if I didn't need too

True. While I still maintain that it's better to be the sun than the wind, better to utilize persuasion than resort to force... well, sometimes persuasion doesn't work. Sometimes, you need a hurricane.
-
And that's exactly what bungie needs to clean up now haha one big old mess.

That's what happens when your house gets blown down.
