Simply put, this game is very quickly becoming a game that revolves around eververse. They are catering to these 'loot boxes' as a way to progress the game, rather than create a story worthwhile. The dawning was the last straw, hiding 99.9% of the dawning loot in these boxes. Sure, we get [i]some boxes[/i] free, we all get a [i]chance[/i] at getting the loot in rotation for dust. But not a lot of people have dust. Not a lot of people get the things they want from these small hand outs. Wouldn't it be nice if Bungie created these Dawning activities that gave garunteed item drops? That way, at the end, those who wanted to grind out quests would have a full set of armor, the exotic ghost and emote. Idk, seems we're just pissed they want our money this season, rather than 'giving'. So far, this debocle is two sided. Those who agree eververse needs to die and the small amount who think it should stay. Hope this cleared some things up. :)
