I did. I deleted destiny completely off of my console. Problem solved.

Free? So you didn't pay for the game or the expansion? We already paid for all of the content, yet they throw majority of it behind a paywall. I don't ever remember having to go through the eververse store to get new ghosts, sparrows, ships and shaders in D1. They introduce this paywall for all the things we used to be able to earn, and then act as if Bungie is doing you a favor by letting you earn 1 exotic ghost through real gameplay... Like how EVERYTHING should be earned... Let's not forget that Bungie's excuse for eververse existing in the first place was so that they could fund things like "The Dawning" content for free. Yet that "free" content we paid for with eververse is now... shocker... locked behind eververse.

I guess people play diff,Tess does not bother me,I have to delete ships and sparrows weekly,I have more shaders than i know what to do with.Boat load of bright dust just sitting there.I guess if you want to hate on something you will find a reason.

It's not about hating on eververse, and it's not about finding a reason, it's about what's best for the game and games in general. They're designing the game around a store to make people want to buy more things they used to be able to get by playing endgame activities. All of this after they already paid full price for the game and expansions. How does that sit right with anyone? If the game was free to play, eververse would be acceptable, if i could buy anything directly instead of gambling with engrams, eververse would be acceptable... If the game wasn't gutted from D1-D2 eververse even then might be acceptable. I have tons of shaders too, but I don't want to use the ones I like because they're finite and I don't know when I'll get more. I delete all of my ships/sparrows because they mean nothing, I didn't accomplish anything to earn them. I have tons of bright dust with nothing to spend it on because the featured items will rarely have something I want/like. The reason people are mad about eververse is because it's not about making a good/fun game anymore, it's about how little effort they can put into the game while finding new ways to drive us to buying more microtransactions.

I agree games have moved to the pay to play, but destiny is just cosmetic atm.I will complain if it start to effect gameplay until then its fine.imo

It's not just cosmetic though, and even if it was, that's the whole point of Destiny is that it's a "collection" game where half the things you'd want to collect are behind a paywall. Ghosts have utility, they have perks that you can utilize in all different activities in the game. You can find resources and chests easier and get extra xp, that sounds like an advantage to me. Sparrows also have perks that affect gameplay, they can instant spawn, reload weapons and have increased mobility, that sounds like an advantage to me. The armor sets from eververse have stats that affect gameplay, and everyone knows that restoration is more sought after than mobility, and that sounds like an advantage to me. Mods drop from eververse that also affect gameplay. All of these things are hardly just "cosmetic". Essentially the only truly "cosmetic" items that you can get from eververse are transmat effects, shaders, and ships. I have no beef with the people that buy things from eververse, but eververse itself needs to change, because it's not right to charge people for a half baked game, and then ask them for more money for things they already paid for.

Only thing I have against Tess,if I choose to buy something I do not want rng to choose it.You get plenty of ghost to delete.Good conversation for a change you made some good points.
