The synchronization with the forums is applaudable. If Bungie plans to ignore or not address the Eververse problem in an efficient and proper way, then we will know that Bungie is just in the own little world.

The synchronization with the forums is deplorable, not applaudable. You guys are fighting for the wrong things and can't even see it.
-
What should we be fighting for then?

Eververse is fine. It's nice, fun gear that you can earn after you hit level cap through bright/illuminated engrams (this is a rare system). It's the fact that all the fun stuff (exotic sparrows, exotic ghost. Shells, etc) are ALL locked behind her. What most people here want is strike exclusive loot, fun exotic sparrows from raid and strike bosses, etc. In reality what they will get is an even worse microtransaction shop that locks the same content away.

They can keep that stuff in the Eververse store and everything would be fine, just like back in Destiny 1. Is Everserve the best of the worst of the microtransactions system, yes it is. But unlike Destiny 1 Destiny 2 doesn't have sparrows, ships, and ghosts that are obtainable through other means than Bright Engrams. The tipping point for the community is that it doesn't matter how good you are or how much you grind; everyone that particapate the dawning event gets 3 engrams for ONE CHARACTER for each of the three weeks. Your luck of getting the dawning armor set for your character let only 2-3 characters is highly unlikely unless you buy them. They are forcing us to get dawning engrams if we want the cosmetic items. Is it game breaking? No, but it's scummy and it shows what Bungie/Activision prioritize in. There are many things that could be added into the game that would make Eververse a cherry on top for grinding. But Bungie decided to put it all into loot boxes. I don't think Eververse should go, but Bungie needs to get their thumb out of there arse and give us ways to get ships, sparrows, ghosts, emotes, and ornaments through other means in the game.

Ive already recieved several engrams on my character. One for logging on, one for mayhem, and one for strikes. On top if that you can get gear from your daily gift. So no, you don't have 3 engrams to get gear, you have 9*3 =27 total rolls on it, and if you cant get it, you can still buy it.

Edited by MoistBaguette: 12/23/2017 9:11:43 AMThose daily engrams don't include a lot of the stuff from the Eververse dawning engrams. That is what I was referring to, that daily engrams can't drop dawning armor set, exotic sparrows, exotic emotes or exotic ghost shells.
