Remove Eververse

That is the only way the game goes forwards. Bungie told us that Eververse is only in to fund free content drops and events in place of the traditional DLC model. Well, right now we have the traditional DLC model, plus Eververse, minus the free content drops. So either remove Eververse, or make the DLCs free next year. Oh yeah, and what exactly is “cosmetic” about getting extra XP per kill and more rewards from public events? (Exotic Ghost Shells)

  • Finding out that the loot pool for the rewards from the gifts you give daily doesn’t include any of the Dawning armour or exotics feels like a bit of a last straw for me. I’ve tried to give the game a chance because I love the mechanics of shooting things and because I loved D1. I could cope with having emotes you pay for in D1, if you wanted something enough you could buy it. I could accept having emotes, shaders, weapon ornaments in random loot boxes in D2. Putting so much of the content that felt good to earn in D1 behind microtransactions or chance makes the game feel even more shallow, along with the lack of random rolls etc. I have to say though that The Dawning seems an extra (bonus?) level of cynicism on the part of Bungie/Activision.
