XP gains only grant eververse engrams more often, which only give sparrows and cosmetics. What’s the big deal?

I are what? A big deal? Gee, thanks...

The problem. The reason. The curse. Your kind of player is the reason we still have to fight this battle.

"My kind of player" Filthy casuals who don't understand how cosmetic items are destroying the industry? Please. In willing to listen. If you have a valid argument, then educate me. Don't just abuse me if being part of the problem. -blam!-ing talk to me.

I've made posts before, long ones, but for the sake of explaing in it short and concise, sure. - It shifts the design focus onto a microtransaction system instead of tangible things in the game i.e. 3 entire armour sets from a store but still no strike specific loot or other things that we enjoyed from Destiny 1. - The constant greed and obvious scam tactics i.e. you can the exact same dawning shader, TWICE which fill up double your shader slots while one you can sell for bright dusts and the one you 'earn' is only for glimmer. - You cannot physically earn all the items in the store from the Dawning event let alone the game i.e. it costs 18K bright dust which, even if you saved up since launch and sold every item possible, you wouldnt have enough. - They do the bare minimum required for maximum profit i.e. not including half of the features from Destiny 1 and features they do add are half assed and pointless. - Most of the things in the game are broken, i gurantee you they have a QA team for whenever the store breaks because that is hotfixed in a day, but anything that is actually broken i.e. prometheus lense, nova bombs in mayhem, three of coins, ikoras permanent marker, fated engrams etc. takes ages or STILL isn't fixed... - Consistantly treating the player base as 5 year old autistic children with the ammount of schemes they pull in mere months i.e. XP scandal, locking out base game content and now this. I did not call you a casual, a casual player is simply someone who takes longer to get to a place where the game is exposed for what it really is, not that you'll never get there. In fact hardcore players making a big deal of this to make changes happen if anything benefits you if you do decide to continue and reach this point. I did not mean to anger you are belittle you, it is just the fact that Bungie apologists are the reason this game is as piss poor as it is right now and its frustrating.
