That is the only way the game goes forwards. Bungie told us that Eververse is only in to fund free content drops and events in place of the traditional DLC model. Well, right now we have the traditional DLC model, plus Eververse, minus the free content drops. So either remove Eververse, or make the DLCs free next year. Oh yeah, and what exactly is “cosmetic” about getting extra XP per kill and more rewards from public events? (Exotic Ghost Shells)

I’m cool with just having a base game with quarterly ish updates through season passes. That way the cost is paid for the quarter of time played based on the content drop schedule. Eververse is cool but I think the only thing I would remove is Ghost shells based on everything they do that does impact gameplay. Other then that. Everything else is ok where it is. Live events should be limited to the odd seasonal ones and monthlies like iron banner and faction rallies. I think the waters got muddied when the business model which honestly based on the nature of what I do for a living I kinda know specifics a lot of you may not. But it’s kind of one of those things where it was poorly implemented and some things added to the boxes are what people really have a problem with. Which is the ghosts. Everything else is with non game play related or has a basic functionality that you have to be either reaching to be offended or just trolling. Don’t know which one. Don’t care honestly. It’s kinda funny to banter sometimes. Makes a boring hour a tad less boring at work. That is what I would revise about the process. That one is free.
