The Dawning Armor is the best set for Hunters and its locked behind the Eververse...
Bungie... I dont understand... you make Recovery the best stat, give hunters the worst stat in Mobility, claim that balance is your priority in the game, then put all the best recovery items for hunters in the Dawning shop... So the only way for me to optimize my hunter is to pay money or pray to the RNG gods (I got the cape and only shaders from the dawning engram btw)? Please Bungie keep armor and items that actually affect the game in the game and out of the Eververse. Exotic Ghosts that gives gunsmith telemetry for all kills and giving extra loot from public events affect the game... make these feel rewarding to get, instead of feeling like a lottery winner with a short high.

1 ReplyThe Hunter’s Dawning set doesn’t offer stats different from any other Survivalist Armor. There are also plenty of Survivalist sets to get. The Dawning set is by no means the best option for the Hunter

I purchased one engram with it, as I'll never fall for their cash grab again, and got the helm, then earned the boots in dawning quests, and finally spent bright dust on the chest. Warlock now has Mobility 2 Resilience 7 Regeneration 7

Delete all useless shaders, ships, ghosts, sparrows and u will have more then enough bright dust to get yourself a nice outfit for christmas. Dont have to spend a dime. Merry Christmas.

All eververse armor looks good on hunters season 1 set is my favorite I hope it comes back

Both the Io and Mercury sets stak recovery, you could even use tokens to buy em from the vendor's, also the road knight AA set stacks recovery, Just a tip. But yea Bungo is a bunch of money hungry pigs

7 RepliesI got it after spending 10 in game. Unbelievable how lucky I got. I feel for the folks who got nothing but ships and ghosts. They can be deleted for dust but that still sucks. Armor is great in pvp. Everyone thinks I'm a one shot because hunters don't regen. Been able to surprise some assuming guardians chasing me around a corner.

I like the way it looks from what I have which is the boots and chest the gauntlets might be good cloak I'm not sure about and the helm is dislike preferred the d1 dawning helm

6 RepliesNot sure why you think the bulk of the Hunter armor sets are all based on Mobility.. The following are all Survivalist Gensym Knight (honestly better looking than the Dawning) The Simulator from FWC The TotN set The new Kairos Function from the CoO Then there are Heavy Hunter sets Exodus Down Wildwood Anti-Extinction (DO) Dead End Cure The Took Offense Iron Truage (IB season 1) As you can see, there are plenty of options that doesn't involve Mobility.

All dawning items will be sold by tess at a certain time, I have no problem with the dust, if you can't keep up with the play time then get out

Trials set, IO set and the new mercury set all are survivalist gear and will grant that extra recovery. But so far in 12 packages for my 3 hunters I’ve got no exotic and no armor for Dawning yet :(
