Remove Eververse
That is the only way the game goes forwards. Bungie told us that Eververse is only in to fund free content drops and events in place of the traditional DLC model. Well, right now we have the traditional DLC model, plus Eververse, minus the free content drops. So either remove Eververse, or make the DLCs free next year. Oh yeah, and what exactly is “cosmetic” about getting extra XP per kill and more rewards from public events? (Exotic Ghost Shells)

They will never remove her, but instead they should re-structure how these very same items can be obtained in-game. Too bad Eververse turned to the dark side!

Not sure if she must leave completely, thought it would not sadden me one bit. I do believe the current model for monetization needs to change. EVERVERSE SHOULD NOT BE THE MAIN EVENT FOR NEW CONTENT DROPS!!!

4 RepliesEV isn't going anywhere. The "whales" will keep it's existence alive. It does need to be reworked though. My suggestion. Lose the rng/loot box aspect and make stuff just buyable. As far as its inventory goes. For every 1 ghost, sparrow, ship...etc.. added to its inventory. 2 items should be put in game. This will keep the people that pay happy with rare items, and keep us players happy with additional loot to grind for.

Here's the thing; we all want it removed. Yet what do we want afterwards? We're so focused on removing this infection, we've lost sight on what we'd like to replace it with. So, I've been posting this around - my two cents - in hopes I can get people to think bigger than just removing this 'feature'. If Bungie seeks an alternative path, I highly suggest the following: If they got rid of eververse, Holiday would have a job once again and maybe we'll find what box Tess hid Eva Lavante in. I feel that every ghost that has a planetary buff, should be placed into the respective planetary vendor's loot table. Crucible and Strike buff ghosts would be placed in Zavala's and Shaxx's. Xur can sell ornaments. Honestly, Eva could sell emotes with her shaders. Along with a haircut or two.. I wouldn't be torn if Tess sold only emotes, though. If Bungie really wants to keep that leech, I foresee that being their end game.

2 RepliesDid something recently happen with Eververse; i.e. Bungie announcent, and/or another unethical practice discovered? All I see now, are posts about removing or seriously overhauling Eververse; didn't know if a recent development occurred, or if frustration finally reached its boiling point.

I'm in total agreement with you, but we all know this won't ever happen. Bungie and Activision would rather see the game crash and burn then to remove their biggest money maker. And I have a feeling that's what it'll do eventually.
