That is the only way the game goes forwards. Bungie told us that Eververse is only in to fund free content drops and events in place of the traditional DLC model. Well, right now we have the traditional DLC model, plus Eververse, minus the free content drops. So either remove Eververse, or make the DLCs free next year. Oh yeah, and what exactly is “cosmetic” about getting extra XP per kill and more rewards from public events? (Exotic Ghost Shells)

So I log on today, get out my proverbial rectal thermometer so I can try to proverbially take the community's temperature on a number of hot-button Destiny issues, and what do I see but literally 3-4 pages worth of "Remove Tess Everess" posts. I must say that this is quite an impressive response. No thermometer needed this morning. Just curious if anyone from Bungie is going to take time out of their vacation to issue a response. When you get THIS community which is usually so divided on a number of issues effecting Destiny actually be THIS united on a single issue, you know something is wrong.

They should follow overwatches model of microtransactions, where you can easily earn it in game, but if u spend money you just get it faster.

Too far this time Bungo...too far.

I love how people are saying "I'm a big boy and can spend my money on whatever I want! Just because you don't have a job to buy what you want, doesn't mean it's bad. Honestly, if you have to shield yourself with insults in your first reply to OP without putting a vaild argument, you already lost. It shows that you don't have anything to back yourselves up. Plus we're talking about the benefit of tge community as a whole here. Not how YOU can accept these business practices by Bungle. You see EA? They had extremely shady stuff on their end and ended up changing so that all players have a fair chance at playing the game. I'm not saying that bungie is doing the same thing at this moment, but it could turn into that and other companies have the ability to follow in their footsteps. Putting stuff behind a paywall allows Bungie to put as little content as possible into an event for a bigger profit for little effort. There's no way to get all of the stuff that you want in the time given to us for The Dawning. After being disappointed, you will buy engrams. That's the strategy. That's what pulls you in. It's a trap. They say they make these events from the money they get from eververse, but then the event stuff is behind a paywall that allows us to have more events like the Dawning, but then the event stuff is behind a paywall that allows us to have more events like the Dawning...... see where I'm going with this? Also, why can't we get bright dust from deleting the dawning stuff. That's also shady. This is an US problem. Just because you're satisfied doesn't mean it's OKAY. Removing Eververse would grant more content from Events like the dawning instead of paywalls!!

Bump for a real one 💪🔥🔵🔵

Eververse has definitely gone a bit too far, but if you remove it there will either be some aspect of the game that suffers (free updates like the april update) or something will take it's place ( monthly subscription) All I'm saying is be careful what you wish for.

Get rid of this crap

Change your name. People are going to think I am a crybaby -blam!- off pussy

So nice too see this response from the community. Keep it coming. =)

Bump! Bungie. It is better to draw conclusions before everyone turns their back on you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPyBNRANMI4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUI0zpMViRA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twjH8B5qk3o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRNAyUlihus

I woke up this morning, and saw one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Almost every top trending post was "Remove Eververse"! I support this movement. We still need truly random rolls to get me to come back to the game, but Eververse is a huge issue that needs to go away.
-
Didn’t think I’d be saying this but I completely agree maybe not remove it completely. But it needs to be changed drastically.
-
I'm going to pour myself a nice big glass of whisky and warm myself on this forum. Your move Bungo.

Just allow us to obtain her shop items via PvP or PvE tasks. This should not be that difficult lol but BungiVision wants $ instead

You have to understand that Eververse is a bad concept for the consumer. Seriously, regardless that many of you defend it by saying "it is only cosmetic" and "you don't have to buy stuff" and "it makes no difference to the game" is a weak defense. The nicer and better items they are creating for eververse could have been content in the RNG for the players in game. This would have eliminated they constant repetitive items you get by having more items in it to begin with. Instead they decided to squeeze people for just a little more money. Bungie stayed in a nice grey area and avoided what SWBF had to go through with loot crates. Many of you will sing a different tune when eververse adds weapons and other actual useful items in it's stock. Then it will truly be a full fledged pay to win game. Imagine you are in PVP and getting your butt handed to you by weapons and gear that can only be bought in eververse. You "defenders" of eververse will be the first to cry about it then. Just watch. It's coming.

Shut up, Meg.

Hey guys Luke smith here so we've heard your complaints. Good news we will be removing Tess and instead it will be replaced by me and it will be "Luke Smith's throw money at the screen emporium" exciting news huh? That's not the best of it . I'll have a whole lot of new items for purchase like the ghorn and all your D1 vault for a low purchase price of 200$ . Thanks all merry holidays.

I agree micro transactions only work if you know what you are purchasing and has no impact in gaining an advantage in the game. The fact its random chance I would say thats a form of gambling, just as bad as paying into a slot machine, awful practice hope Bungie are looking at this seriously.

Thry have already put ghosts in with special perks locked behind a paywall if they start putting in weapons then im out

Nah I like her.sorry not upvoting:)

My ps4 is in service so I haven't been online for few days. Now reading forum is so inspiring and things start to get interesting. Seeing unity rise from the ashes of dissatisfaction towards the game we are served. All this makes me smile. Now the ball is in your corner Bungie.
