That is the only way the game goes forwards. Bungie told us that Eververse is only in to fund free content drops and events in place of the traditional DLC model. Well, right now we have the traditional DLC model, plus Eververse, minus the free content drops. So either remove Eververse, or make the DLCs free next year. Oh yeah, and what exactly is “cosmetic” about getting extra XP per kill and more rewards from public events? (Exotic Ghost Shells)

Gosh you people make me laugh. A lot. Quite pathetic really.
-
Naw. I have the chance to get anything and everything in the Eververse without spending any money, just by playing the game. I’m fine with it.

9 RepliesEdited by Dredgen Dread: 12/21/2017 10:50:44 PMLol... none of you need these cosmetic items, if you truly want them you have two ways to get them: grind or pay. They will never introduce these items as free in game rewards as people have already shelled out cash for them so get over it. Either acquire what you can in game, grind, pay or stfu.

There is nothing that says you have to pay for eververse, if you don't want to you don't have to. Also everything up there is cosmetic really as you can obtain everything up there for free by illuminated engrams, if you want to mention how giving more xp or whatever is not cosmetic then what about clan perks for them 800 member social clubs who just set their clan to open invite? I've deleted so many of them additional xp/glimmer ghosts I got from engrams its sad

I don't think people would care if weapons and gear were good like D1 and if the weapon system and characters weren't nerfed into the ground. The problem isn't cosmetics being sold through RNG loot boxes. The problem is that cosmetics are the most interesting items in the game.

It's time for Everest to go, make all her stuff be available in adventures, heroic strikes, nightfalls anything will work just be the Bungie you are meant to be. We will keep pushing for a better game even if need to leave it, we are the players who make your game great don't make us suffer anymore and start fixing these big problems

Why would anyone spend money on sparrows (which you can't even use in the new dlc), ships (which you can't even actually fly), emotes (which are pointless), gear (which half of the players don't actually like the looks of), or ghost shells (which although having some benefit are damn near pointless), or shaders (which we cycle through and will probably break down for dust anyways.) You can't be that stupid to spend money on junk, that you can grind for, especially when last week everyone bitched about there not being enough to do. Lmao. This game isn't for everyone I suppose.

4 RepliesEdited by Knox19Delta: 12/22/2017 1:22:35 AMLook I’m still fuming over all that time in Destiny 1 for the Veteran players like me got jack $)$@! Oh wait my 5000 plus Grimore score only gave me a crap brown logo that no one cares about or what or why? And everyone was on the hype train!! Then Destiny 2 bombed and I’m now requesting a refund like many others thru Microsoft! Look we have to stop gaming company’s from ripping us off.

9 RepliesStop buying stuff. Who cares about a bump in xp or glimmer. Or Buy what you want. Either way I'm just gonna continue playing. I don't buy anything in games with real money..... unless I wanted to.
-
This focus on monetizing us with cosmetics needs to go. Its ruining the fun and the grind. Gone are the days of collecting ships and sparrows and being able to look at your progession with the in game rewards now were stuck having to buy from tess these ships and sparrows and shaders. Whats that vault space is small good luck collecting everything on all characters.

4 Repliesthey won’t need microtransactions if they just make better games in the first place. microtransactions seem to be the holy grail to game developers because if you add them and people are willing to pay for them then whats the problem with more money? yes it equates to more profits but it also equates to less respect from the gaming community. if you are going to do microtransactions then at least do them how they are done in games like fortnite where they give absolutely zero advantage. where they are 100% cosmetic. not like in destiny 2 where it may not seem obvious but they absolutely do give advantages.

The whole thing has been a cash grab from the start - or rather, since the big shakeup when they started losing people and had to restart the whole thing.

There should be gear and weapons you could only get with real money, and also events only unlocked with cash so i wouldnt have to play with poor people.
-
Shit is getting real with the lootbox gambling. I play a free to play mobile game that obviously has tons of crates and random chances, they just announced today that they have to start listing the actual odds of these purchase.

You are not forced to pay it I just dont care about eververse

65 RepliesI saw Star Wars Rogue One in the theater last year. It cost me $20. I loved it, so I decided to spend another $20 to see it again with my wife. Flash forward 5 months; I remembered the whole movie by that point, and still very much enjoyed the experience I had watching it twice. So I decided to spend $30 on the Blu-ray. By this point I have spent $70 to experience a movie I loved. I love Destiny (1&2) and have no problem paying more money for new content, micro transactions (if I want the items, and the chance for future content. I have only spent about $220 for 3 years worth of entertainment. Sounds like amazing value to me.

9 RepliesOmg whine about it. Get off it already.

1 ReplyEververse makes sense in a system where quality content is pushed out free of charge. Right now it just feels like the player is getting shafted.
