I sincerely believe it is mostly Activision behind the microtransactions, take COD for example. However, Bungie gets no pardon, because they allow this to continue and support it's development. When they could have designed interesting challenges/activities to place loot behind, they chose to place it behind an rng slot machine paywall. Just so you know, the Dawning gear could cost you up to $600 for a full set of armor. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. Listing all of their screw ups with D2 would take more time than I have. Bungie, we will remember. Battlefront 2 was first, you are next.

Give ships and sparrows back to Amanda. Get rid of single use Shaders and give them and the ghosts to Eva. Tess can sell emotes, transmats and consumables. Give ornaments back to Xur. Bring back kiosks for organizing cosmetic items.
