If the answer is that " this item doesn't guarantee an exotic after a set number of activities" the question then becomes what is the actual drop rate for exotics as a base number?
I have used several three of coins and played for all 4 hours and did multiple activities, excluding heroic strikes, and had not one single exotic drop for me.
Now are we increasing the chance from .04% to .06%? (50% increase from .04%)
Or are we increasing the chance by a straight 50% from 100%?
Can you provide a base percentage dropo rate for exotics and the increase in base drop rate based on the buff from the three of coins?
This will most likely get lost in the spam and hate but it is a legitimate question. I want to know, the community wants to know, and being more communicative means answering pertinent questions.

Some tests have been done by players where they didn't have exo's drop until the Toc buff finished, the same happened to me (turned out to be a duplicate aswell lol),so it seems when a Toc buff is applied it lowers the exo drop rate instead of increasing said drop rate, peace

You probably won't get an answer on this, as games rarely give out exact drop rates, and people would just complain about numbers that haven't been used in 3 updates. But it would be nice to have more information. It took me a second to (i think) interpret your question. The question is if it's the base drop chance of exotics in general or per activity. I don't think there is a game wide base drop, so from my understanding is drop chance would work something like this Bc + (bc/2) + bp + bptm Where bc = base chance, bp = bright paragon and bptm = bright paragon stacking.

It would be helpful for people to know the exact rate increase so the "working as intended" argument would be validated. The cloak and dagger hidden rates and percentages just aren't going to cut it with this game. Not anymore. They could get away with it in d1 because the base game wasn't in the condition that this one is. I'm not saying it was great, I'm not an idiot. I was there, it was awful at times. Not like this though. Three of coins feels broken. Hard facts would alleviate that. I do agree that people would complain about the actual drop rates but fuk them, I want to know if spending shards on three of coins is worth it.

You probably won't get an answer on this, as games rarely give out exact drop rates. Destiny isn't going to be an exception to this, no matter what people complain about. Its like those people complaining about running strikes for 16 hours and not getting an exotic. Or getting one. Assuming 15 minutes per heroic (lol), 16 straight hours at a set rate is 64 strikes. Assuming a 1% drop rate, you on average will get .96 exotics with a three of coins. With a 2% drop rate you'll get 1.92. This is all average. But with a 1% drop rate, doesnt mean you arent going to get 5 in a row, and with a 2% droprate, doesnt mean you wont have to gring out 300 before you see one.
