Can you please reduce Icarus dash cooldown? (make it like 3 seconds?)

Before all the hunters flame me, know that hunter dodges need some love! but ID is very different and much more situational than a dodge. It really is just a small dash and doesn't have any perk attached to it. It doesn't give i-frames, does't help once you are in a fire fight since it leaves you vulnerable ironically. It also barely takes you anywhere, so i don't even consider it a dodge, it really is a slight dash. Its really just used to navigate behind corners if you happen to be in the air peaking around a corner. So its extremely situational. Could you please get rid of the long cooldown?

    • Completely agree. I’ve recently moved to using this tree instead of the one with the ability to heal because the maneuverability this allows is just so fun. HOWEVER, the cooldown is god awful. Either it needs I-frames, it should deal damage/knock back opponents(similar to Titan charge), or it just needs a smaller cooldown. In comparison to both the Titan charge and hunter dodge, it’s lacking.

    • I haven't played D2 since before the release of prestige raid (and don't plan to lol), so don't mind my rustiness or ignorance. I only really experimented with that side of the subclass, if I'm remembering correct that was the side that let you shoot whilst flying , which could be pretty potent tbh but as with most of the sublass 2-way trees, one usually feels a lot more powerful than the other. (I liked the divebomb for health recovery tbh, saved me more times in crucible than trying out the dodge). The icarus dash probably does warrant a change to its recharge, I see someone in the comments mentioning 5 seconds, and I would agree because 3 would be...pretty ridiculous as a base cooldown. A *new* exotic would be nice to enhance the dash to an even lower cooldown/ using the dash grants an agility boost for idk 10s or whatever. As for during the super, I can't see it have a 0 second cooldown with no cost penalty attached, you would be too mobile (and whilst bungie obvs wouldn't allow this just on basis of No Fun Allowed) and it would be inbalanced, I think it should cost next to none super energy, if any at all, and have a further reduced cooldown i.e the 3 seconds you mentioned. But it does function the exact same (as far as I could tell when I did play around with shooting midflight) as the twilight garrison, maybe less distance (honestly can't remember details so sorry about that) and if it is less distance, buff it to garrison range. long response is long, sorry for waffling, hope D2 gets some meaningful changes to character classes and perks in-general to make the experience better for you all. [spoiler]Also does the hunter dodge even have i-frames? I have nothing but contention in remembering how little the 'harder to kill whilst dodging' perk worked aka it didn't, and I'll admit my hunter was my first character to really play as since D1 beta, cloak fashion too strong lmao. But this is a warlock post about warlocks, so that's the important topic at hand, so don't mind me have flashbacks to the garbo quality of perks in general across D2.[/spoiler]
