No thx enjoying D2 on balance.
Feedback is being heard and Bungie are making changes that are heading in right direction.
Same thing happened in D1.
Calm down Che.

Not convinced D2 is better balanced so much as slower, boring and very forgiving of mistakes.

Edited by gallp13: 12/16/2017 6:36:17 AMMy apologies a few people seem to has misunderstood the phrase “on balance”. This term is not comments on game balance. This phrase means that I see many positive and negative aspects to D2, however when taken together, for me, the positives just outweigh the negatives. There is still lots of room for improvement.

Edited by Broken: 12/15/2017 11:44:25 PMWhat was so out of balance in D1? There's a meta in either game. Both games have a grind! I would argue that D2 is more of a grind then D1 ever was with masterworks, and the way the npc resources are. D1 was way more complex in the way you could make your character, and weapons. I absolutely loath the watered down version that D2 gave us. I'll be honest, I was never a huge pvp fan. But I played way more pvp in D1 then D2. For me, D1 had more variation in pvp, then D2, and for me is funner. I'll still play either game, but I can't take more then a few hours of D2 weekly, because of the power loss that it gave me. You just don't feel powerful anymore, items (exotics) don't really feel very useful. Sure some are, but the majority are lame in my eyes. Random perks, and god rolls they wanted to remove ok (I personally loved them), but damnit. I only play one class, one character, they killed the skill trees!

Aside from 1hko stickies I felt things rather balanced yet still thrilling. D2 is soooooo boring.

Edited by vmondude: 12/17/2017 1:38:33 PMYup stickies were all that was wrong toward the end. Apart from the dismantling of blade dancer, I never understood that nerf, especially radar cooldown with blink who the hell asked for that?! Yeah otherwise from TTK on it was pretty close to being balanced apart from the shotty long range issue and stickies. So what do they do for D2, remove EVERY fun factor so there’s less to moan about. Way to shoot yourselves in the foot bungie! But this dlc just blew your other foot off so good luck lol
-
Early taken king was the most balanced. Viable primaries included hawksaw, luna, doctrine, mida, tlw and a few others. Shotguns and snipers were equally powerful... and they hadnt pointlessly nerfed blade yet lol
-
Yup they should have just left it alone then after TTk.

Edited by badbrain1: 12/16/2017 12:34:26 AMA grenade should kill especially if it sticks to you. I had no issues with it killing me. I mean personally I though it was balance since it does terrible damage if it fails to stick. It wasn't too difficult to avoid. All you had to do is play smart.

Stickies should not have had incredible magnetism. Plasma nades in halo were perfectly fine because they wouldn't curve towards you when thrown poorly
-
I agree and I hated stickies in D1. But all they had to do was remove or massively reduce the aim assist so they didn’t curve ball to stick to people. At least then you know they just threw it skilfully and got you fair and square. Or maybe leave you absolute or something, I mean we are wearing complete space age body armour.

You forgot the #satire

Edited by vmondude: 12/15/2017 8:52:38 PMFair enough you’re enjoying it, each to their own as I always say but 78% of the player base disagrees I’m afraid. And I don’t plan on waiting another 3 years for them to fix something that should have been right upon release. They had the 3 years of D1 to get this right while D2 was in production and they still got it upside down.
