Although Odyssey and BoTW were undoubtedly the best games of the year, D2 was decent enough
I mean sure BoTW and odyssey both were pretty spectacular and had very few flaws, but D2 has also supplied me with a fun hours of fun that overall, was worthy of my money (Even if D1 was better which is a matter of personal opinion.) This year was a great year all around for games. I don't think people have a right to complain right now.

Destiny 2 was utterly destroyed by Zelda. I've played both and Destiny 2 was ho-hum for me. Zelda completely blew my mind how amazing it was.

1 ReplyI don’t mean to sound dramatic but I’m honestly pretty heartbroken about Destiny 2. There was so much promise, and I just don’t understand how the developers could revert back to making so many mistakes after they spent 3 years refining and improving the original. And I hate saying that because Bungie is such a talented team. Destiny 2 is the way it is because there must be some internal conflict. No way that a game that plays so well can be so infuriating for so many other reasons. But Mario and Zelda, holy crap. What an amazing year for Nintendo.

Pretty much erasing the end game content amount of the first game and continuing their practice of having forced DLC and you say it’s decent compared to Mario And Zelda. -blam!-ing LUL

Bungie stripped away a lot of things people enjoyed from D1 and cut down things like the excitement of finding loot or the fun of tweaking your character build because of smaller skill trees. People who enjoyed playing D1 PvP with 5 other friends now have to leave people behind to play 4v4, and you can't even pick the mode you want to play. There are many, MANY improvements that need to be made. For a $60 fully priced AAA season pass sequel? Paying customers have [b]EVERY RIGHT[/b] to be disappointed and concerned with the state of the game.

1 ReplyI’m guessing bait But anyone has the right to complain about a crap games that spent money on regardless of how many other good games have come out as well. D2 imo was crap. I got my money’s worth but it was crap none the less. They did get PE right though. One thing I thoroughly enjoyed in the game. A+ on that end and the art style and music is always top notch.
