Why is Argos sucked into the Leviathan, yet Nessus is fine and dandy in the bakground?

So Argos is the planetary core of Nessus that is converting the planet to a Vex "organism". The Leviathan "eats" planets for fuel and it has sucked in Argos where the trouble for Calus begins. Nessus is perfectly fine and never for once before CoO was it even implied that the Leviathan is sucking it. Also in one of the adventures on Nessus we intercept a broadcast to Cabal forces who are tasked with gathering geological data on Nessus (stealing it from the Vex) for someone. That somone is Calus and he wants to grow plants on Nessus. This is presumably the purple grapes we see on the ship. So, with all this in mind how is the Argos/Eater of Worlds story fitting into Calus' plans for Nessus as a garden and why isn't the planet's structural integrity damaged? EDIT: planetoid EDIT 2: I saw it. The Leviathan indeed drills Nessus albeit in small chunks. I expected the effect to be bigger. Thinking about this more Argos, may not be *inside* the planet as its "Core". It can be transforming it by flying around and doing work with its claws and that's when it may have been sucked in. I remember reading somewhere that every Vex planet had such a core inside it. Anyways, now I can enjoy the events transpiring a bit more ;)

  • Always have redundancy in your network. If one part fails the other sections can continue working. Argos is most likely the main Planetary Core with a few secondary cores assisting.

  • While on Nessus you can see a stream of ground and other stuff getting sucked into the leviathan. It might’ve went straight for the core first?

  • The Leviathan has always been sucking in chunks of Nessus. If you go to the bottom left corner of the map on Nessus (with the big lake of vex fluid) you can see chunks of the planet being sucked into the Leviathan way off in the distance.

    • I think Argos was preemptively attacking the leviathan.

      • He didn't want to grow things on Nessus, he was asking them to find mineral-rich deposits on Nessus for consumption. From Adventure: Invitation from the Emperor The Cabal want to grind Nessus into "glorious dust, fit for royalty". It’s more environmental data. Just some logistical planning so they can prime their ship to… “eat the planet". You can see the Leviathan sucking in parts of Nessus from the surface, go to the Cistern landing Zone. It's been that way since the Leviathan raid started.
