Gleaming Boon Of The Vanguard
This says it gives an Eververse gift at the end of a strike, but does it give anything other than 3 Shaders? I can buy 3 shaders for 120 Bright Dust and these boons cost 350. Pretty expensive for a few shaders!
Is there a chance this will grant exotics? Will it drop ornaments, emotes, vehicles etc?
(I’ve used 3 so far at a cost of 1050 Bright Dust and all i got was 9 shaders i already have a ton of)

Well, someone I matched up with for an heroic strike had used one and the reason I know it is because I received an exotic ship. I didn't see it coming and it was an amazing surprise. So thank you to whoever used it!

I wish I had found this thread before I wasted the bright dust. I used one during a heroic strike and not one of us on the fireteam got any reward. Not even shaders. Be careful not to use this with the holiday medallion for shaders because it seems to override this one.

There is a chance at exotics, and when it happens, it happens for the entire fireteam

The first one I used gave me a ship. (ugly as hell so that got immediately deleted.) The next two each gave me shaders.

It's just a currency sink man. Don't waste your Dust on it. Save em up and buy what you want when she sells it. Grind the 9 Illuminated engrams you can get easy at the beginning of the week and you should be good. No reason to spend shards when you can stack em and get something you want.

1 ReplyHmm, used 5 now and still only had shaders. Absolutely not worth the cost buying those boons. The chance %age to just get shaders must be pretty damn high.
