Anybody else have random sprint lock problems?
I can go days of smooth gameplay and sprinting no problem then days like today where when I sprint it just keeps locking up. I sprint and immediately lock out and walk and it keeps happening. I thought it was my controller and a few weeks ago it got to me so bad that I bought a new controller. So its not the controller. Well here I am today with this constant sprint lock and I really think its a bug at this point. Its driving me nuts!! I played all week sprinting perfectly and now no matter what I do it keeps locking up almost everytime I sprint for past hour of playing. It just happens out of nowhere. Im on ps4 btw. Lmk if you experience this please.

1 ReplyI know this is an old topic. But I am still experiencing this issue. It makes it really hard to do some of the timed content like the new Mad Bomber instance. Where you have to race to the bomb before you can leave the mission. Please fix Bungie.

1 ReplyExperiencing this issue on PC and PS4. My core team of raiders are too. I've bought a new controller, it didn't fix it, returned it because I thought that controller was defective, and the replacement still didn't work. Used secondary keyboard and still encounter issue. It is not your controllers/devices, it is on Bungie's end.

I've had it happen, but more frequently I've had the problem where I'm sprinting in pvp, see an enemy and try to stop sprinting and it's locked for 2-3 seconds , then just get gunned down

1 Replyhappening for me. only after last tuesday. sometimes i can only get 2 steps and then sprint turns off and i am walking. i have a wildcat and play on pc. super annoying!

I usually have the opposite; aim a gun then drop it and bolt. Don’t think I’m pressing too hard and activating sprint but probably. It happens in certain matches, then stops for a while.

2 RepliesI had this weird problem with turning left. Standing still, turning left would be half speed, but turning right was normal speed. It comes and goes.

Its not a bug its a gameplay feature. Lol, more bungie quality. It took two years for us to find out it was in fact a feature, it was only when they released an artifact that had a perk that stopped it, that we finally knew someone had intended this shit to happen. Why, we'll never know. Shotgun too op.
