Bungie interesting job position

It seems that even after the massive outcry of the community for the lack of valuable content and bad design. Bungie's priority is lootboxes no game design lol. Check this out. Bungie is looking for an experienced, creative, and technical Progression Designer for the Destiny franchise. As a member of the Live Team, the Senior Progression Designer works with a diverse array of disciplines to build and maintain Destiny’s monetization business: the Eververse. You will work with Artists to plan and realize new items, and with Engineers and other Designers to imbue it with function. The ideal candidate will be a force in creating alignment and support for new designs and monetization strategies. Check just a couple of the responsibilities. *Create sustainable player progression and chase through Destiny 2’s Bright Engram *Design and implement new features and systems with an eye on engagement, retention, and monetization. Bungie your ship is halfway under water, but you have your priorities right... • 1. Destiny 2....especially on the PVE side...isn't having game design problems. They just need to tweak the end-game economy. PVP, is a different story. 2. That job posting was probably planned weeks-to-months ago-----before the SWBF2 situation blew up, and they had a chance to see how the "Eververse End game" was being so poorly received by the community here. So it probably went out (according to schedule) before they made the decision to go in a different direction. If you ask me, I think Bungie is having an internal struggle over the direction that the game should evolve. IMO, there is a fundamental split between the development team----which gave us vanilla D1 and D2----on one side....and the Live Team and the people who gave us The Taken King on the other. I think D2 was made according to the Dev Teams wishes....and against the wishes of The Live Team....and that fell flat. Now Bungie is walking the changes back. So I think Bungie probably won't fill that position....or will change the nature of the job in question.
