Idk what it is, but my team is using a ton of Craniums to damage him, plus Sins of the Past, AND Coldheart but he just won't die!
We're dodging his detain crystals, we're killing his suicide harpies
He has a STUPIDLY big health pool.
All I'm asking for is either a health reduction of 7-12%, or a damage buff to the Craniums

9 Replieserr....that's your problem. Quit using the craniums to damage him, lol. You can knock his shields off twice per "round" (basically doubling your current damage) if you initially charge the correct craniums. void turns to solar solar turns to arc arc turns to void Example...if you initially see 2 arcs and 1 void needed to burst his shield then you need to initially cook 3 voids, 2 arcs and 1 solar (because you can knock his shields down again in the same round if you already have the 2 voids and 1 solar ready for use).

5 Replieshttps://terraria.gamepedia.com/Eater_of_Worlds It says that he has 7485/10479 HP.
KUPO!!!™
Indigestion I’d say.
-
10 RepliesI agree, and have you tried beating Callus on Normal now which is 300 light? It's very difficult to 1 phase him and it takes up to 1 phase just to take out 1/3 of his health now

3 RepliesEdited by Slevi: 12/11/2017 1:49:40 AMCold-hearts do trash damage. If you want to knock off atleast 33% a run you have to use the craniums and an entire team of long range damaging supers Void bomb, golden guns and sun hammers wreck his health. So once your 3 cranium guys break that shield, everyone uses craniums, super, grenades, rockets and auto rifles in that order.

DON’T YOU DARE COMPLAIN!!! THAT RAID LAIR IS LIKE THE OLNY GOOD AND CHALLENGING THING WE HAVE GOTTEN FROM BUNGO SENSE DAY 1 OF DESTINY 2. IF PEOPLE STAR COMPLAINING THEY WILL CHANGE IT ANE RUIN IT!!! SO ZIP IT!!!
-
No! Please don’t! We already have so few challenging bosses to fight in this game..
-
It just looks like a pile of convoluted shit like all the Raids 😳
-
I feel like he has too much health but its only been 48 hours. We need to wait and see what the advanced strategies are. Maybe were doing something wrong

Edited by RICH_F88: 12/11/2017 10:15:24 AMThe mechanics are pretty simple, but Jesus Christ he takes some damage!! It's pretty insane. The only way we've managed to get a decent amount is by using skulls, sins and rally barricade. That comes at a price though, practically zero heavy ammo for the second phase 😑
-
No hes fine. I enjoy a difficult boss fight.
-
3 RepliesWouldn't DARCI be able to give us an exact number?
-
I like it like this. Its challenging and forces you to be at the top of your game. It provides a different play than the 2 or 1 phase bosses weve seen in the past.
-
Leave it alone.
-
You have to get double shield drops every round. The way it is now it requires absolute perfection
-
When my team beat him I did over 2 million damage to him using the skulls and celestial nighthawk, took 4 rotations but it was also our first time fighting him
-
2 RepliesThe problem isn’t how you are playing, you just have relatively low light.
-
you seem like the type of person to still ask where xur is
-
His health pool is big, but it's not unmanageable. Make sure you have literally everyone holding a cranium, have as many nighthawks as possible, make sure you're using the coldheart (Because despite what some people say, the prometheus lens is not better than coldheart for DPS), and use a lot of good rocket launchers.

4 RepliesHaving cleared this earlier and cleared calus today as well, i can say that it does feel like they changed the health and it does feel like the vex guy has a ton of it.
-
3 RepliesHaven’t tried it yet but it’ll be easier when everyone is 325-330 in a week or two.
-
3 RepliesAre you using the crystals to damage him? Those are insane
-
Bungie's idea for making sure people can't one phase the boss: give them all the same hp as Golgoroth.
-
I really feel like for calus they balanced it around point and shoot. Then they saw everyone's strats and balanced this guy around empowering rift and rally barricade. It's a much higher dps requirement for sure
-
Each damage phase should be getting at a minimum 80% of each bar down. This accounts for deaths and or ppl getting caught in the nets. Easily done it this way.
-
I'm sure people will figure out more optimal ways to dps and then it won't seem that bad. On my 3rd completion we 3 phased so it's definitely possible to do it quicker than the 4 attempts.
