Yeah, glad you’re having fun. Good thing it’ll be over on Tuesday.
Then folks can go back to complaining how “terrible” PvP is and how they’re all going back to play D1. Then we can get back to normal and PvP can return to a more enjoyable state.
I’m not complaining, I used the gun for a couple matches yesterday so I can see what it’s like on the other side of the fence with all the bandwagon chumps, not my cup of tea following along with the other sheeple. So it’s now in the vault, where it’ll be for most people come Tuesday.
It’s fun to use in PvE but I’m not into laser tag.
I’m still gonna do my PvP milestones for the week but I’m not gonna like it. I don’t miss D1 PvP, this weekend is a prime example of why Bungie made changes.

It's a -blam!-ing laser! What's not to love?
lol i see your point though
Why will it be over Tuesday? I hope you are right. Crucible is stupid right now, IMO. I like a little variety.

Bungie said they’re going to “adjust” the P Lens on Tuesday. In other words they’re probably going to kill any use in PvE to make it safe for PvP. I honestly didn’t even know about this gun till it was plastered all over the forum of how OP it was in PvP. Before Xur sold it I saw it once or twice and killed the person using it fairly easily with a Dire Promise. It wasn’t that big of a deal. Post “FireSale” PvP is a cancer and an honest throw back to the crap fest of D1. Come Tuesday PvP scabs and chumps will cry, and PvE folks will be annoyed that once again a decent PvE weapon had its 🥜 removed to cater to PvPons.

Fix your last sentence: “This weekend is a prime example of why Bungie should have never fixed what wasn’t broken in D1.

Sorry, I can’t say that. PvP needed to change. In all honesty the special weapon ammo nerf should’ve arrived in early D1 before PoE dropped. Bungie created the special weapons dependent culture which plagued D1 PvP which was broken for a long time. You still see it’s echoes every day with folks begging for a return to that crapfest. I can understand PvP being a shit storm of ability/special/heavy spamming in modes like Mayhem but PvP shouldn’t be a shit fest of he who throws grenade first wins or he who corner shotgun slides the entire match wins. That type of crapfest should have a place, in its own mode, not in all areas of PvP. The changes made to D2 PvP are good, not perfect but it’s a change that many on the forums requested. Sure 4v4 and the loss of a couple individual modes weren’t asked for but it’s really not that bad. 4v4 is probably the most ideal team count in this version of PvP. If there were 12 people in a match I imagine the cries of team shooting, which has been here since D1, would be far greater. I’m not some HC PvPHog. I play it for fun and to have a good time. Spamming my shit an entire match can only be fun for so long. Just like the current Lens situation. You are either already annoyed as F with it or you’re one of those who say, “this is the most fun I’ve had in D2 PvP.” Those latter types should go back to D1 or CoD where they belong if they need that kind of experience to enjoy themselves. Bungie is obviously moving on from that kind of stuff. They had a choice I guess, keep shitting or get off the pot, looks like they got off the pot.

I could make a long winded response. But in short yes Bungie made those changes and maybe to you they are good. But to the vast majority of this community they are not. So bungie has a choice to make. Ball’s in their court. It’ll be interesting to see what they do.

The only people that like Prometheus Lens are the people that suck at using guns. D1 was softball easy for everybody, this PvP atleast requires some aim skill.

Edited by BEH0LDiTzSAM: 12/10/2017 10:53:11 AMAim skill in a game that has the most aim assist of any other FPS shooter, in addition to non existent recoil for almost all primaries, and the enlarged hitboxes that mean your shots don't even have to directly hit the player to register as a hit This game is literally designed to make players with bad aim/ skill feel good, as it removes the need for skill/ reaction times making everybody equal in terms of performance, never allowing for individuals who are better players to exceed without the help of fireteam teamshooting
-
Personally, I totally agree with you. But would you rather have a game where it has 100% aim assist but unlimited abilities allowing players to suck even more and piss other people off? Or a game where everyone are forced to use the 100% aim assist?
-
Lol says the D1 scrub!!!

Wow you told me off. *Clap clap*
