I've been playing since launch and I recently upgraded to an SLI setup. At first I though Destiny 2 didn't support SLI since it was only showing a maximum of 4GB in the video settings, but then I found articles from August stating that the game WILL support SLI.
Since upgrading my rig, I've actually observed LOWER framerate than with my single GPU, consistently dipping down to 40fps back up to 60fps and so on. I'm confident this shouldn't be happening as I exceed the recommended requirements of the game. Do I have to enable SLI in-game or something? I know I have everything enable correctly on the software driver side.
Here are my specs:
Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition
CPU: Intel i5 4590 Quad Core 3.3GHz
GPU: 2x Gigabyte GTX 970s 4GB (8GB with SLI)
RAM: 8GB
I've observed higher performance in other games that support SLI such as GTAV and the Witcher, and if Destiny 2 supports SLI, I'm sure not seeing it.

2 RepliesFirst off SLI does not double your gpu's memory, it shares it, so regardless if you have 2,3 or 4 cards in SLI you still only have 4 GB of memory. Are you sure the game is using both cards? Using something like MSI afterburner to monitor GPU load you could see this. Furthermore you can use nVidia Inspector to force the game to use the extra GPU. I have a 3-way SLI setup but the game was only using 2 cards until I forced it to use the 3rd.
