3 RepliesI just don't understand, how do you go from the Taken King to this? How do you take all the variety of ways to play from Destiny 1 and instead go with this sameness approach? For all the trash that was vanilla Destiny 1, I still was addicted to playing it. I mean I sunk hours into it. We are now in Season 2 (also why season 2? The game hasn't been out for more than a couple months!) and it is all so boring. Mind you I play on PC so the game hasn't been out a terribly long time for me.

28 RepliesI'm sorry I can't bump this crap there's a reason this game is fine I don't know why everybody's complaining seriously. I already made the adjustment to the new story why can't anyone else? As for the DLC loot there's a reason why they call it DLC buy the expansions to play with the loot if not quit crying about it.

No, Bungie gave me some of the best gaming experiences with Halo - Reach Destiny 1 - HoW was an awesome PvP experience There consistent nerfs since D1 to help the casual player has made me question Bungie. The "trying to appease" the casual crowd even further with the release of D2 was a terrible decision and has left me wondering about what Bungies front office is thinking I believe bungie will learn from there mistakes and put fun/skill into the game. It just takes them so damn long to make good changes

I just found out this wasn't even an expansion. just a pack add on dlc type. there wont be a real expansion until a year from now!!!!!!!! WTF!!!???? what did i waste my damn money on for "EXPANSION PASS" on the deluxe edition. wtf? and like everyone if the content was good n real. THen maybe it'd be worth it but now im pissed! which is why im not even playing the new dlc atm (eventually i will). I wish a better developer bought this ip n just took over. bungie sucks they didnt even add hdr to new update which said they would. they're so late on everything. basic recycle, copy+paste methods are so -blam!- -blam!- -blam!- -blam!-ed

3 RepliesI remember when me and my friends were all hyped for destiny 1, we guessed how awesome the final game would be. Then the worst thing happened, it was released. I never could have thought of how disappointed I could be with a video game. I was deeply sadend by this game but decided to hold on to it and see if bungie could have been so kind as to release free DLC. Then the 1st dlc came out for 15 dollars. It was terrible, so terrible in fact that I returned the game and didn't even finish the dlcs missions. I made a mistake to give destiny another chance. Never again. You ratted me out for the last time. Not again bungie.

Theyve taken everything good about the game, shot it in the face, and gave us the finger while doing it. Honestly, its basically became super mario bros. Run through, collect the 3 whistles, warp to level 8 beat the boss and by then youve got everything in the game so theres no need to keep playing. Theyve went so casual that hardcore players have nothing to do. Casuals leave in 2 weeks anyway. Now so will the hardcore player base. And to boot, Destiny 2 finally had a broken exotic. Finally something that i just really wanted to grind for and get my hands on. So what do they do? Have Xur sell it in the first week. Literally the only thing i felt like chasing. Finally something to chase after. And they took it away. I dont care that the only reason to grind for it was because it was broken. It gave the game a tiny itty bitty spark of life. And Bungie stomped it out first chance they got. Twas the last straw for me. I stand here, a 1600 hour Destiny 1 player, taking now my 2nd long break from Destiny 2 in its first 3 months. Before the expansion i hadnt turned it on in 8 weeks. I dont see anything changing anytime soon.

As of now, yes, it's gone. When I lost the excitement to log in and play I lost faith that this game works be anything great going forward. I was fine with Destiny 1. It wasn't as epic as expected, but there was still fun to be had. And it did start to get better and better over time. D2 was supposed to capitalize on that and be even bigger and better, and maybe even attain that epic status. Instead, it tossed the only things D1 had going for it in the first place and basically started over, and was worse. It's basically the same thing all over again. Sorry, but I can't. If it makes absolute leaps and bounds and becomes "must play" material again, sure. But I'm not sinking time into the game when I'm not even able to find the excitement to log in.

4 RepliesI have. I can't even bring myself to install CoO. I own it, but I don't want to play it. It looks stupid. But, I could care less about this issue of reskins. Since this was supposed to be a ten year game, those old weapons shouldn't have been removed in the first place. So, reskins are fine. All I want is for Bungie to bring back every single thing that made Destiny great. Random Rolls are at the top of my list (along with the vast majority of the community). "But Qeylis, I like static rolls!" Who gives a ___, random voice in my head? Most of us, by a massive margin, hate static rolls. It's the number one issue killing Destiny right now.
