Hunter Ults seem weak and less protective than other classes
This is something that's been bothering me a lot lately in PvP. It feels that whenever a Titan or Warlock activates their ult, they go into god mode during their activation and can withstand sometimes more than a full clip of constant head-on damage. To top it off, their activation seems more instant and viable than the Hunters. When my Hunter activates his ult, he seems to melt like there was no protection at all like the other classes ults give. I usually fall in a few hits compared to the bullet sponges of other classes. Not only that, it feels like I have this massive delay between me activating it to when I can actually use it compared to the other classes. Warlocks can cast this massive nuke in a single click with no real activation time, titans cam just pop on a shield, or strike the floor instantly....I have to but on a display of my body surging power, then my golden gun comes out, or staff or whatever.
Am I crazy here? Am I just mis-reading this?

All of them [seem] to have the same activation time. It's [i] when[/i] you use it that's key. [b]Any[/b] guardian activating a [u]Super[/u] (not "ult"/ultimate?) Will get melted if they try to do so under heavy fire. Had it happen playing all three classes and with (just about) every [u]Super[/u]. Your best bet is to go play every class and use each at least [i] some[/i] before trying to say that a Hunter's is underpowered. Personally, I've seen every super wipe (or nearly wipe) the other team. Additionally, I've burned down every roamer (not every time obviously). Perspective.

Golden gun is an s tier super in pvp, i don't know what you guys are talking about, a 1 shot hitscan is going to be good

2 RepliesHere’s my perspective. Arcstrider sucks almost every time because I get gunned down. Night stalker is good because I can get multi-kills and go invisible. And gunslinger is meh, just a golden gun and a throwing knife.

1 Replybc they are, any super hunters have has a better version in another class. case and point, arc staff is garbage compared to striker, stormcaller, hammers, and sentinel golden gun has the same utility as sentinel in pvp but sentinel can do sooooo much more shadowshot is the odd one out in that it used to have its place, but now is completely useless when compared to pretty much anything now, a -blam!-ing titan grenade can do the same thing

1 ReplyThat is because the golden gun and tether dont get dmg decrease during super. And arcstrider is the slowest super so it gets killed easily.

2 RepliesI don't think that Shadow Shot or Golden Gun provide you with any additional health or damage reduction. Arc Staff does, though.

10 RepliesAlmost all the supers have activation time. Novabomb causes you to jump in the air and hang there for a second before actually throwing it, same as Dawnblade Sentinel raises your shield and Sunbreaker your hammer. The fastest one is probably striker and stormcaller (which you failed to include), because they give you an immediate aoe on activation, but you can still kill them if you are far enough away. About the damage you can take; you're a hunter. You're supposed to be the LEAST resiliant character in the game, and you complain about being the least resiliant character in the game? If you want to be a tank, pick a Titan.
