Normally, I would agree with you. I bought this game for PvE, not PvP. However, the PvP was enjoyable and constitutes a sizeable chunk of the game. Now, it's virtually unplayable unless you have a Prometheus Lens. You WILL go against a team using it, and unless you have one you had better hope that other team is utter garbage otherwise you don't stand a chance, the gun really is that broken. I'm not one to complain about guns in games. In all my years gaming (18+ now) I haven't encountered a single gun in a single game that I would consider "broken". Not the AWP in CS. Not the Golden Gun in 007. Not the MP40 in WaW. Not the 1887s in MW2. Not the DMR in Reach. Not even the Smart Pistol in Titanfall. The Prometheus Lens is a completely different story. When it cuts the average solo TTK to a third of the time of any of the other guns, and it's a literal laser beam with no recoil, that's a bit ridiculous. Why would you want the PvE to be that ridiculously easy anyway? The game is short enough--you're telling me you want to finish everything even [i]faster[/i] by blasting through it with a blatantly overpowered weapon? That's boring, extremely so.
