First off, credit goes to author in https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/7efnx8/all_destiny_2_grenades_ranked_by_single_target/ - for providing the number of ticks to calculate the grenade damage, and the idea of testing in the raid. I only did 1 quick test but my numbers should be pretty accurate for most grenades except scatter.
All grenades were tested at 320 power vs 330 watchers in the prestige raid. Sunbracers were on the entire time, did not test without them for solar grenade. Should be roughly 45-50% of the damage.
Pulse - 6,380 (titan grenade is _8,617_ if i added 2 ticks of damage)
Storm - 3,955 (1,413 first hit, 2,542 second hit)
Arcbolt - 2,542
Solar w/bracer - 11,145
Firebolt - 2,542
Fusion - 2,853 (27 attach, 1,413 x2)
Vortex uncharged - 6,244 (charged should be about 7,516)
Axion - 2,571 (29 attach, 2542)
Scatter - Over 7000 (Explanation below!)
I did not get a chance to see the scatter grenade's numbers or memorize any of them.
I tested the Watcher's health by shooting a 399 damage handcannon 18 times to kill it.
This comes out to be 7182 damage, however the last shot was mostly overkill damage.
We can assume the watchers in prestige have very close to 7000 hp.
The scatter grenade was tossed right under in between the watcher's legs and killed it instantly from 100% hp. This situation is not likely almost anywhere but is interesting.
I don't feel like making a reddit to post there but feel free to spread information or test yourself more accurately.
Upvote if this made the patch notes a little less obscure.
