Please don't nerf Prometheus Lens!
Because i still haven't acquired it and it looks like one of the few TRUE exotic weapons that is fun to use!
Same goes for the Colony!
Edit; making Prometheus a power weapon is also an option!
Edit2; why does everyone think that there is only PVP in Destiny? I'm not talking about PvP. For PvP it is broken, everyone can see that, but they need to seperate it from PvE and leave it alone.

1 ReplySolution is so simple. Lock it out of PvP. For those who need a complex explanation. If this gun gets nerfed no one in PvP would use it which will have the same result as it being locked out of PvP lol. Let the PvE side have some type of fun in this game just for once.

Oh they will. The YouTube and Twitch streamers will make sure of that. Bungie can't stand all the uproar over it. Instead of fixing the servers with all the new animal and otherwise errors, they'll -blam!- the hell out of a weapon again. Total bullshit. Yes, I do want to use it in PvE without it being -blam!-ed up. But, Bungie will do the same lame shit they always do, -blam!- it up for PvE too.

12 RepliesIts not broken sorry to tell you that. Hell its not even bugged. Bungee is making it as and excuse to fix (aka nerf it into the ground) because it's doing so well and people will complain till its fixed. It has an area of effect/burning effect like its suppose to. Just look at what they did to the poor pulse grenade. It has and area of effect plus electrocute your ass but I stead of leaving it alone and buff the other grenades to bring them in line they nerfed it and still buffed up the other grenades.

Can't wait for the next Expansion to get a void tracer rifle, that's over used for a week after its release and then is rarely seen again! 👌

Just bar it from the Crucible. You can do it Bungo. Simply block it out and automatically switch another special when a player drops into pvp. But do not, absolutely DO NOT let Prometheus become the next Vex: great one minute, a joke one nerf (or six) later.

I'll start off with saying I have not bought CoO, nor have I played D2 this week - so haven't used or encountered the weapon. Personally, I have always hated the constant nerfing, that is what got us to where we are now... This seems like the OG Vex all over again... Nerf this, and the floodgates open once again for all new weapons to be nerfed.

3 RepliesWtf this is one of those guns I wana teabag everyone using it. It's way stronger then the cold heart. Went to to toe with a guy using it and I used the cold heart. He beat me every time even if I got the jump on him. Also they can shoot the wall and get the aoe effect. They won't make PvP and pve separate so how about give the cold heart a buff so it can compete.

In an attempt to get user numbers up. Bungie has introduced a glitched gun into the game to get the community talking about it. The hope is that with every video demonstrating the awesome powers of the gun; more and more players will log on and contribute to the player base numbers. Fear not. Once you jump on for the chase and are documented for success. The weapon will be patched. Trust in that kiddies.

The gun is broken and needs to be fixed, that or the hole game reworked to rebalance the games crucible. Its no gjallerhorn. Now for anyone who has a complaint about PvE and PvP separation go ahead because that would be preferable with the hole game.

THE PROMETHEUS LENS IS BEYOND BROKEN IN. THE. CRUCIBLE. It needs an immediate hotfix in the crucible, it is actually bugged. No gun should kill in 2 ticks, you literally die by just walking into the lazer, this is NOT ok. Players who own this gun are getting NON STOP victories in the crucible. Fix the gun in the crucible, its fine how it is for pve.

Original D1 player here and Promestheus Len is broken. The gun literally kills you within 1.5 seconds which pretty much makes it impossible to outplay whoever is using it. You could team shoot the person with it but that's the only way to battle against it because 1 on 1 you don't have a chance and that's just a fact with the evidence I've seen. (Not personally came up against one yet). Vex in D1 was ridiculous and was a similar problem as no other gun could compete with it in a fire fight, unless you had a rocket launcher but you don't always so not a fair comparison. However Vex in D1 got nerfed into oblivion which was a shame.
