Hello,
On my Xbox one x when HDR is enabled for the game, the game is overly bright. All of the colors are washed out. I do not have this issue when playing other games in HDR and my TV supports HDR 10 according to 4k information provided by the Xbox one x advanced details page and the tv user manual. Is anyone else having this issue? Is this a known issue?
Thank you

Hey, so for me I launched the game without HDR on and set the SDR brightness to the lowest point, closed then game then enabled the HDR on the console, launched the game again and adjusted the HDR dark/light and BAM looks beautiful!

Hey noncube, I have recently played this game on Xbox one X and facing the same issue. Have PS4 pro as well, and D2 works fine there. Did u get your fix from Bungie or somewhere else? Please let me know.

Just wanted to chime in that I’m having the same issue on a TCL Roku 7103X. I’ve been able to workaround the issue by going to the Xbox dashboard (where colors look normal) then returning to the game while in orbit. The issue disappears until I restart the game.

I’m having issues as well. My tv is the Vizio E55-E2. When I play Battlefront 2 or Cod WW2 I do not see any issue. But I am definitely noticing something on Destiny with the colors. Specifically the orange looks red. So for example if I use the solar subclass or weapons with solar damage the icons just don’t look right. It looks kind of like the contrast is out of wack. I’m also seeing issues with the game going dark in and out, as if it is going from daylight to dusk back and forth. I believe this will just have to be addressed in a patch since I do not have any issues on other games. Hopefully it is a easy one that can be sent through fairly quick. I’m linking a picture I took of my tv as a example.

1 ReplySame issue for me: I have an LG EF9500 and some HDR looks really great. For example, Halo 5 looks fantastic, but other stuff, Destiny 2 included unfortunately, looks really washed out. I lowered the brightness setting so low that I actually can't see the little icon that you're supposed to be able to just barely see, and it's still washed out. It's so bad that I have trouble reading the white text against the (non-white, just very washed-out) backgrounds in the game.

My Vizio M55-E0 seems to have problems with HDR on Xbox One X too. I tested on my PS4 Pro and did not appear to have the same issue. Shadows look bright and washed out instead of dark. Blues/purples are glowing way too much.
