Performance is unplayable since expansion patch

Hey. Been playing fine for the last couple weeks, actually played from 1-3am before the expansion launched with perfect performance. Normally get 120 fps in orbit, 60+ during activities. I installed the update, and now I get 50 in orbit and 20 or so in activities. I'm also experiencing some artifacts that weren't present before. My specs are CPU- 3770k GPU- 1060 SSC 6gb RAM- 16gb

  • Hi there, Are you still encountering this issue? Can you list the troubleshooting steps you have already attempted? If you have not already, you may want to try the following troubleshooting steps: - Close and relaunch the Destiny 2 client and Blizzard application - Ensure you have updated your drivers to their most recent versions and accepted all Windows updates - Delete your existing CVARS.xml file using the guide here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/46407

    • Don't know if it's the same issue. My lighting is flickering and blown out. The darks are super dark and the lights are super bright. Shadows appear to be going on and off at times. Also the performance tanked to about 1/3rd of what I used to get. Give them till the end of the day to at least acknowledge this issue, otherwise I'm requesting a refund on the season pass. CPU - 4670k GPU - EVGA 980 RAM - 16GB
