Does anyone else but me stop the microwave at 1 sec? Not because it's like a bomb going off or some OCD some people have but because
I FREAKING HATE how loud it is, especially when you're trying to cook something late at night while everyone is asleep!! lol

I usually stop it before the final beep.

I always try and stop it right before the beeper goes off but after 1 second. So that it’s perfect. But it’s -blam!-ing impossible. My brother did it once and no ones been able to do it again since.

We used to have a microwave that, if you let count down to zero, would [i]stop[/i] the loud noise if you opened the door. Not so with our current microwave You have to hear all five of its awful, loud beeps, every time. You're not alone, OP.

I'm tempted to, but if you set the microwave to a certain time then you have to commit to it. You can't cheat the microwave.

5 RepliesI always try to stop the microwave between the 1 second mark & the beep. I hate those damn beeps! Someone should invent a way for me to download the notification sounds I like to the microwave or make it so the microwave sends the notification to my phone instead of screeching like Omnigul!
