That's not even remotely what I am saying. I'm saying, if they don't enjoy it, no one is twisting tehir arm forcing them to do it.

Unless...they want to progress reasonably quickly, right? Because not only are the rewards able to drop above 300, but there’s also a milestone reward for it. If there were dozens of ways to get better gear in PVE, then I’d concede your point, but there are TWO “endgame” PVE modes that can only be completed once a week to get high level gear. You know, something I’ve noticed in many threads similar to this one is that I’ve actually seen very few people say they ENJOY the timer. Most people say it just doesn’t bother them, and people need to stop complaining. You say it’ll ruin the gamemode for others, but you can always add difficulty to anything in a video game, but you can’t take certain aspects away. If you enjoy the timer, that’s great! If they ever remove it, you can just set your own timer with a group, and if you fail you go to orbit. Then everybody gets to enjoy the gamemode.

You know what. Leviathan is also one of those methods to get powerful rewards for all the same reasons. Maybe they should lower the difficulty of that since a very small percentage of the game can actually complete it because of the difficulty. I don't find the Leviathan fun because of the insane difficulty, so maybe they should lower the difficulty of that because I want to "progress reasonably quickly"? Then maybe "everybody gets to enjoy the gamemode".

  • Wow...there’s so much wrong with that statement that it’s honestly hard to put into words how wrong it is, but I’ll try. First off, crucible DOESN’T drop gear above 300, at least using the tokens you get for shaxx doesn’t. Secondly, crucible has a varying difficulty because of how skilled/awful your opponents are in any given game. Even in trials I’ve had runs where me and my team breeze through the run, and I’m not an amazing player. Go ahead and check destiny tracker, I’m decent, but certainly not amazing. Third, any change they make to crucible effects every player, wether it be something that lowers the skill curve or raises it. Finally, read through my posts again, go ahead, I haven’t changed anything since you made this comment. I never claimed it was hard, honestly I didn’t really find anything in this game challenging at all. I said it wasn’t FUN, you know, the entire reason we play video games. Being forced to rush through things is artificial difficulty, and just makes playing the nightfall a chore. That’s why 75% of the playerbase has left. Everything is boring and just feels like a chore. Like I mentioned before, if you really enjoy the nightfall, that’s great, but a large part of the game’s players dislike them. At least from everything I’ve seen from the forums, my clan, friends list, and a 800 player Facebook group I’m in for Destiny.

  • Meant leviathan and you know it, lol. Also never said you said it was hard. Just used your analogy for the leviathan. Also, don't give statistics you don't have. Just cause your friends list and such don't like it doesn't mean a majority of people don't. The only time someone pops in to the forums and facebook or whatever is to complain about something. If every person that loved the game, or aspects of it, came in to be vocal of teh such, the site would crash with millions of players posting about it. Just like EVERY game in existence, the forums and the community pages represent a very very small percentage of the playerbase. That isn't a made up statistic. That's proven by math.

  • We’ve been talking about the nightfall the entire time why would I assume that you would just randomly switch to the raid for no comprehensible reason, and yes I even said in my experience. This meaning I knew it was a small sample size, but when over 75% of your population leaves a pseudo-MMO in less then a couple of months that speaks volumes. That isn’t a made up statistic, and it says something much louder then anything on the forums or reddit.

  • I don't sweat it cause I see this exact reasoning in EVERY game I have ever played at launch. Within the first month or 2, people come on saying that 75% of the population left. It really doesn't mean as much as everyone makes it seem it does. If it were, that makes every game released in the last 10 years a bad game. When you start a game during launch and watch the forums, it's always the same thing. Also, I assumed you would assume I meant Leviathan, because I would assume any normal person would read the comment "a very small percentage of the game can actually complete it because of the difficulty" and assume that it would be the raid, considering one cannot "complete" an endless cycle of PvP matches with no set difficulty due to being a random experience each time.

  • Why would I think you switched to the leviathan when we’ve talking about the nightfall for the past 2 day’s worth of posts? This entire thread is about the nightfall and you start rambling about the raid for no reason? It’s also kinda cute how you haven’t brought counter points to any of my issues with the nightfall at all.

  • Counter points? Have you not read what I have written in this entire thread? Getting tired of keyboard samurais trying to look high and mighty without reading everything first. Reading comprehension is in a serious decline as of late. I'm unsubbing from this thread. No sense in arguing with someone that doesn't take the time to read everything before initiating a counter against someone.

The only counter point you’ve even attempted to make is that I was complained that the nightfall was too hard when I’ve never even stated that. It’s also funny how you mention not reading things when it’s pretty obvious you haven’t read a single thing I’ve posted. Whatever man, I agree with bailing on the thread though. It’s obvious neither of us are going to convince the other.
