1 ReplyEdited by goats_dont_shave: 12/4/2017 4:30:45 PMThe fact the game didn't have it from launch is utterly bizarre!

. Shaders & emblems could become a thing but guns, armor & class items is the way to go

Biggie should just a treasure hunt game. Skip all the shooting and pvp and make something more intellectually stimulating instead of long and over complicated. And stop trying to FORCE people to play as a team.
..
For this forum that many up votes are significant. I think bungie only listens to twitch people or Reddit forums. Or nobody.

2701 upvotes.... still no Bungie This isn't even a "slam" post, just a request... I thought they were supposed to engage in more communication, not ignore us...

I disagree...
...the number is definitely way higher than this. Think about all of the people that already gave up on D2, or never visit bungie.net that clearly would like it too. It's really a no-brainer. All the options they took away from us that were common place in D1 is just ridiculous. Of course you have two reason to blame for that: 1. Activision forces Bungie on a certain schedule to release content, whether it's ready or not; hence the very bare bones end game we ended up with. 2. Many of these features are being withheld to be re-added in future 'free' updates or as filler content for future DLC to make it look like they are giving more to us than they really are. Perfect example, we're getting heroic strikes back finally in this DLC. Who wants to bet there's a fair chance it's blocked behind the DLC wall, so people that don't pay can't even access it?
6 RepliesEdited by DidacticRhetoric: 12/3/2017 6:42:55 AMI regret buying the game+expansion all at once. I’ve found this to be such a disappointing experience that I’ll probably skip the next major update. Is there any debate that D1 is a vastly superior game? I’ve never seen sequels remove features instead of add features. At its core, D2 should have at the very least, all of the same features we finished D1 with. Instead, D2 fixed the little things that were annoying, like bounties, going to orbit, etc. (“Quality of life improvements” I believe is the phrase they keep using), and also changed some of the core satisfying aspects for no good reason. What happened to this stuff? -Strike specific loot -Vendors that sold items you could actually choose to buy -Factions that you grind all the time -Rank up packages where you could choose armour or weapon -Shaders -Nightfalls that were hard because of the modifiers not because of the time restrictions -Fun raids -6v6 PvP; Rumble -Interesting raid armours with effects Do we need to wait 3 years for the game we deserve?
