What is Your Perception on D2’s Crucible Philosophy?

I’ve read some interesting takes on how to best approach Crucible in D2. Some say don’t be caught alone (1v1 is dead) while others see Bungie downplaying abilities/supers and up-playing gun fights, trying to keep encounters more bullet oriented than ability. What does Bungie seem to want to accomplish with the changes they made? For me, I see them potentially trying to remove the lone/op “slayer” from matches (at least in Quickplay). I don’t run Trials, so have no thoughts for that activity. Also, I’m suspicious of D2 maps being more “open spaces” so cross-mapping and team-shotting can occur, despite the few sniper alleys that can easily be replaced by Midas.

  • Destiny 2? I think you mean the Destiny franchise because it has not changed. The mindset is pubstomp or be stomped, inflate everything including your ego, reflect the shallow game by being a shallow player, play destiny competitively if you are not good enough to play Cod, Halo, Overwatch, Battlefield etc competitively. Aim for B rank Stardom, Complain about everything, Eventually become a hypocrite if you are not already, the only convictions you have are self fulfilling. Welcome to Destiny, especially the PVP side which is the most vocal and Bungie's Current focus.
