Why do xbox controllers suck?
I hate them.
The joysticks are misaligned and its too bulky, not comfortable in the hands. The trigger buttons are terrible.
How can any1 play with thjs?

9 RepliesUmm the Elite is the best controller ever made. Sticks are off center because it makes it easier to move and still hit the letter buttons without over extending your thumb. It is the best placement of any system ever.

I wish both companies would make big controllers like the old big original xbox controller. I have big hands so I prefer xbox one controller over ps4 only because it's slightly bigger.

3 RepliesIt's all personal preference, I absolutely hate the PS controllers. The left analog stick is in the wrong spot and the controllers are too small for my hands.

Some of you got stuck on the "bulky" comment but i really meant "boxy". Its not really too big, theres just a compromise of not being able to utilize the top left off centered joystick to its fullest potential because it requires me to let go if i want to press a button with my left hand like i do in shooter games. My hands arent small btw and i know some of you creative xbox fanboys will find some other justification to explain why an off centered joystick is so cool.....its the stupidest design ever just like this stupid post! If it were centered, i think i would like it and more and it would feel way more comfortable. I hope PS controllers never change cause they're flawless and real comfortable IMO. Not too small and definetly not "BULKY"! The xbox controller is definetly a deal breaker for me. It would be awesome to use a ps controller instead! And p.s. i dont have small hands!!! :|-

How can anyone play with a ps controller? It's something called preference, and we all have one. You may prefer Xbox or PS4 controllers based on their comfort or layout. You have your opinion, I have mine. If you respect my opinion, I'll respect yours. With that said, I realize each controller isn't for everyone. I love the Xbox controllers, and despise ps controllers Ps controllers are very small with awkward handles, short and uncomfortable triggers, and an awkward button layout. Not to mention that the stick height is too small, the annoying speaker system, the tactical flashlight on the front, and the seemingly useless touchpad. Also, the ridiculous fact that the controllers need to be charged, and you can't replace their battery.

I prefer them to PS controllers. Really comfortable, triggers actually feel nore like a trigger.

I actually enjoy both the PS4 controller and the Xbox One controllers. I would honestly be happy if my PS4 controllers trigger buttons had the same feel as the Xbox trigger buttons. In my opinion, the Xbox One trigger buttons are a lot more sooth than the PS4 trigger buttons.

To bulky? As in big? I find it just right, a PlayStation console trolled id SMALL compared to the Xbox and it feels like my hands are three times as big, it's awkward when you're not use to it. Hard for me to really say if the thumb sticks are an issue not being aligned like a PlayStation since neither gives me any issues. I wonder how much a scuff controller would give you when it comes to 4 extra buttons, probably would mess with your head.

I've been an Xbox player all these years and recently got a PlayStation four and was blown away by how comfortable the controllers were. It felt strange playing with an Xbox controller after that.
