I've been enjoying the game so far but am a bit annoyed by the lack of an in-game player finder system for raids. I find it cumbersome to use the forums, then have to add each member to your friends list in order to play with them. Are there any plans to have a player finder system for raids similar to the normal strikes and crucible player finder in-game? Or even add a looking for fireteam chat channel within the game to connect that way while at the Traveler would make more sense than using the forums. I got nothing against you all but have no interest in adding tons of people I don't know to my friends list.

The matchmaking they settled on was guided games. But it takes the length of a movie to get in a group for a raid. Also have a thick skin cause they wont be nice about anything, lol

You're about 3 years late to the party with this request. The answer is no.

Hi I suggest editing this to #Feedback. The Devs are more likely to see it there. #Help is for Game Bugs and Issues

That pretty much ruins the point of a raid but there's Xbox lfg, apps to get a group (even this one), whatever PlayStation has, and guided games. So no plans for a matchmaking system.

It would be great to have a system like FFXIV's Party Finder. You can choose which activity you want to find players for, require completions for it if you want (so the game automatically prevents people who haven't completed it from joining), or make a learning party for people who want to learn the raid. You can choose which classes you want to join (like how many Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters) and a minimum light level.... Then other players just view the party finder, see a group they like, and join it...
