Here it is I promised all you they would make a blog on it.
Still a long, long way a go but definitely a step in the right direction.

3 RepliesI have to be honest here and disagree that I think this is a step in the right Direction. I dont see anything here that the community has asked for. It makes zero improvements for the dedicated gamers. For example, we asked for ways to use Legendary Shards to help us gear at higher levels. What do we get? We get the facility to buy useless Legendary Engrams that will serve no purpose to aid progression, or purchase an exotic that we dont already own. Utterly pointless. Example two, we request that they allow weapons to drop with random stats and perks. What do we get? We get a Masterworks weapon that is exactly the same bar a kill count and a +10 to a random stat on the gun thats re-rollable. Where are the daily heroic stories? Where are the hidden ghosts? Where is the value in end game content? For god sake I play a single hour a week, get three pieces of powerful gear and then im done unless I chose to find a group to raid with. Nothing they are bringing makes me want to put more hours into the game, because at end game level its just time wasted. The power progression system needs to change, the gearing system needs to change, the repeatable content needs to change and more fun stuff needs to be added. The game has gone backwards in its content level, and whilst if you have never played D1 it appears fine, when you've been around D1 for many hours it makes D2 look terribly bleak. Unless Bungie actually decide to listen to what we are saying, there wont be movement in the right direction at all.

My only concern is the "pvp is the priority" part. Without separate pvp and pve weapon systems (standardized stats in pvp and random damage rolls in pve) the pvp aspect is going to continually suck dry the pve fun, as seen in the current state of the game.

51 RepliesEdited by Xeno: 11/30/2017 5:02:41 AMWhether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the staff at Bungie. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Luke Smith. From what I can gather, he commands the Developers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Bungie. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold. Edit: More strikes to come. And maybe a few raids :)

408 RepliesHey all, Cozmo is out on paternity. I'll be monitoring for #Feedback for the time being. Let us know what you think! Additional information concerning the incoming Developer Commentary may be found here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/239336750

Still no delectable game modes? Useless exotics? 4 vs 4 is the only crucible game type? The list is huge But - I will hold my judgement till it's been released but certainly not holding my breath.

23 RepliesThe right direction? There's not a single thing there that would make me come back. Nothing. Not a single issue was address except that they don't talk to us about shit. Get private matches? Woohoo for 5 minutes. Weapon stats? Who the fck cares? Emote wheel? Oh thank god that's there! 3 of coins 2.0? 3oC was the worst thing introduced for exotics. Made them cheap. More strike tokens? Oh yay 😒 Ornaments? That's a priority! Reasons to run the prestige raid? Shhhh we can't say that yet even though we said we don't communicate enough. We can spend shards for gear we want? So we can all run the same 4 weapons!!! 🤗 Where's the 6v6 mode with dedicated servers? Where's the raid perks? Why isn't endgame content the only way to max level? Can I even view challenges in the hud without having to wait for 10+ glimmer to disappear? Why can't I still arrange the vault how I want? Why is there only 50 shader spots but more than 50 shaders in the game? Why don't mods come with perks? Why does mobility and resilience still do sweet f all? Why after all this burning does bungie not give out this pathetically small dlc out for free?

5 RepliesBungie is a gaggle of inveterate liars, utterly bereft of any ethical compass. You can't trust a goddamn thing any of them says or writes, so today's post is completely meaningless. I'll be kicking myself in the ass for some time to come for buying D2, but at least I had enough self-control to steer clear of the season pass.

This what could work out for destiny 2 . 1 ) raid gear and raid weapons with raid perks on . 2) masterworks on weapons only . with god rolls on armour . 3) change the clan engrams so you only get normal gear from not raid or trials gear out of. 4) Bring back all planet's from destiny 1 to destiny 2 for PvP and pve . 5) more PvP and pve choices old mode from destiny 1. Ie. bring a 24 vs 24 PvP match only primary . The way this would work let's take mars as it is on destiny 1 ok 24 one side 24 the other 30 min battle for clan xp if they did this for clans. We could use one of destiny 1 old planet's. Ie moon or what ever the race you what to fight. Earth got fallen. Moon got hive. Venus got vex. Mars got Kabul. Each race could have a different level of difficulty Pve use destiny 1 old planet for big public event that could last up to 30 mins or more get good rewards from . 6) Take nightfall timer off Let me know what you think

1 ReplyMy opinion is you can see they chose a direction but for many it wasn’t the right one. They have chosen to keep with the neutered balanced structure with boring weapons and a everyone wins mentality. With this decision they have moved further away from a loot shooter rpg where effort and accomplishments make you stronger in game and then others. Like I said in another post this is fine if this is the direction they want to head but if they keep down that train I guarantee many will bail either soon or after they play the content they purchased with D2 at launch. I got the season passes so I’ll play what I paid for but after that if they stay down this path I’ll be done.

1 ReplyDestiny isn't a -blam!-ing collection game! People don't play anymore because you sucked the fun out of becoming a space magic fueled killing machine, not because we don't have that last trash piece of armor you were never going to use. We want abilities we use more often, weapons that make us feel powerful, engrossing encounters that are fun to play over and over. Not "moments we can savor, " peas shooters, and literally jumping through hoops and calling it a raid. Cowards couldn't even show their faces.

1 ReplyThat letter read like something I'd write a girlfriend after I majorly f'd up. It was pretty weird and out of place.

Nothing about subclass balance that sucks.

They honestly should have just put all these updates in without telling us right away. Then we discover them ourselves. Why wait, just apply them and move on.

1 ReplyThe thing you have to wonder is when was this written? I'm guessing around the beginning of October and it's just being released now

1 ReplyEdited by Dr Leo 92: 11/30/2017 7:16:22 AMNo kiosks No vault organization No raid specific perks No mention of rumble ( they will never implement 6v6) No strike specific loot No strike scoring system and medals No mention about how they will make lost sectors interesting No info about the sandbox tuning No mention about giving the ability to choose crucible game mode No adept weapons Even if we can choose what we want from the vendors there is no point in going back when you have the full set because these are static rolls. D1 we always had the chance of a good roll on palindrome but in d2 better devils will always have the same perks, the stats might change due to the new system but how much difference will that make? Skeptical about this one.

Meh, very meh

NONE of that makes me want to grind through that shit storm called destiny, this would have made the original content worth doing over, now that im burnt out from that unrewarding shit, giving me a purpose to do the borefest shit isnt gonna work..im burnt out on it.
-
2 RepliesNo it’s not. The entire damn thing is just about making loot easier to get. They didn’t address ANYTHING about giving us some sort of endgame or reason to keep playing.
-
I don’t want a -blam-ing HUG Bungie just address issues, or don’t. Your press releases mean less than nothing to me at this point. Action, that’s all that matters, and time is of the essence.

There have been allot of things that players have asked for in D2 but the main thing (i think) is the lack of progression. Lots of activities but zero point of doing them because once you hit max the loot is for collectors only. Many see no point in doing them. Sure you can play just for fun for a while but...the fun runs out when the loot at the end is just dismantled. Now Bungie will increase the rewards on most things + you can get exotics you dont have from Xur and on top of that a 3 of coin implementation. Will this not just speed up the progression to hit max even faster and then we are back at square 1 again? If they would raise the power levels more frequent instead of waiting with every dlc, that would surely fix a large portion of this particular problem wouldnt it? The problem with rewards in D2 is not the lack of them. You get rewards without even participation. The problem is that the rewards stop to matter real quick. This fix sounds very contra productive to me, or i have missunderstood the blog compeletely.

3 RepliesEdited by battlehub: 11/30/2017 2:23:21 PMPlease people, 1v2 or 1vs multiple is not going to get fixed by adjusting the TTK. Adjusting the ttk is only going to promote camping. You will die from two bullets to the head and won't see where they came from. In the games current state, a person that is sitting and waiting will get the first shot off but because of the current TTK, one has a better chance of escaping or outgunning that person. The best alternative to this, is to add two tactical grenades, like flashbangs or smoke grenades, to the Guardians loadout. Anything that creates a diversion or affects opponents in non lethal ways will assist in this type of engagements. Just don't let the affect last too long. It will still allow hunters and warlocks to dodge and Titans can deploy their shields to avoid death.
