Incoming Developer Commentary about Destiny.

Hey, there. Tomorrow, we had planned to conduct the final stream prior to the launch of “Curse of Osiris” to show off some of the weapons and armor the expansion includes. Instead, we are investing all our efforts into delivering some higher priority information about Destiny 2. You’ll hear from studio leadership about their assessment of Destiny all up, they’ll talk about our goals for the game going forward, and you’ll also learn about how we’re reacting to your feedback with some game updates that will arrive in the next few weeks. That will appear on the Bungie Blog on Wednesday. Thank you, DeeJ

  • Let's hope this isn't more crap we don't care about. Word of advice for the future, from someone who has worked for multi-million dollar companies as a product manager: Next time you make a Destiny game, DLC, plan changes, etc... have actual people who play the game, who are the farthest removed from your company, any of its sponsors, affiliates, etc. (meaning people like us!) give feedback on those decisions and/or test it BEFOREHAND. And actually listen to that feedback, and not kibosh it just because you don't like it or agree with it. What you think DOES NOT MATTER. You are biased! WE are the ones playing the game day in and day out. WE are the ones paying for the games, the DLC's, the micro transactions. Listen to us. Quit making decisions based on what YOU think or what YOU like. Hell if you're too lazy, do polls on here and reddit and let that be the deciding factor on certain changes you're considering. Anything is better than however your awful decision making process is now. You are your own worst judges. Why do you think most non game companies do those feedback groups before releasing a product? To see what people want, and what they like and what they don't like. It's common sense! Nuff said.
