Calm down, for one you can still get them for free so stop whining, and two they are PURELY cosmetic so it doesn't matter either way.

Sparrows aren't purely cosmetic, for what it's worth. The sparrows you buy from the glimmer vendor are noticeably slower than any of the sparrows you can get from the eververse. Having a faster sparrow does indeed give players an advantage over those who don't.
-
I don't think there's a weapon reloading sparrow that isn't Eververse either is there? Not that it's an advantage really but it is a difference that's not cosmetic.
-
How? How is it an advantage? Sparrows are PvE only, and they're generally only used in Patrols where it matters even less.

Edited by dance4carrot: 12/5/2017 8:37:27 AMDon't you get mods in them? Besides, they did it for a reason. They introduced a system to throttle xp. What for? Why not just have less exp from the start?
-
Saves time on nightfalls and can get you a free rally flag in time
-
Again if they were transparent about it there would be no issue. All they said is that there would be a change to EXP gains on all events. But nothing about increasing cost of Bright Engrams. And they said they would be transparent about all changes but they are not. That's the issue
-
But it may have been a decision made post announcement. Even if it wasn't it does not matter in the slightest.
-
Your stupid if you think that Doubling the required exp for an item and not announcing it doesn't matter. Especially when they say all changes to the system would be relayed to us.
-
I understand your argument, they were dishonest blah blah blah, and if it were for something that actually affected gameplay in any way I'd totally be with you, but it's completely cosmetic. So I don't give two shits.
-
It gives you bright dust for Fireteam Medallions which aren’t cosmetic and increase your gains by a lot
-
They increase the gain, which you then use for those cosmetics.
-
Nope for xp, exotics and legendaries, not cosmetics
-
This. I don't think the whole XP throttle is effecting people as much as they make out, yes it dishonest and sneaky, but nobody noticed for nearly 3 months. It clearly didn't affect the game as much as people would like to think it did.
-
Actually people did notice. It wasnt until bungie got caught up in gaming media and the backlash from the EA loot box still hanging in the air that they finally addressed it. You not noticing until 3 months later doesnt mean everyone else did the same
-
But doesn't mean everyone else noticed either. I'm pretty sure if this was noticed months ago, the community would have jumped on it by now.
-
So your rebuttal is well that doesnt mean it is true? You just dismissed the people who did in fact notice but your opinion that not enough is valid? Bungie only made a claim once it was large enough they couldnt ignore the fans pointing it out. Again just because YOU didnt notice doesnt mean it was a nonissue.
-
It wasn't noticed though. I can't find any articles, topics, threads or comments pointing to XP throttling than 7 days old never minds months old. Also if this affecting people the way they like to make out why ignore it for so long? If this was such a big issue, the community would have brought it up before now, there people out there looking for any excuse to have a moan a Bungie.
-
Once it was picked up by media it was an issue players were pointing it out earlier again you're using your own experience as fact while dismissing the fact i pointed out three times now that the articles are what moved bungie not individual members. No it wasnt a huge everybody was on them thing but it wasnt this oh people are just making something outta nothing like you are claiming.
-
Show me where it was brought up by players before the media got involved? You say I'm using my own experience as fact but I not finding any evidence of anyone complaining about XP throttling since before last week. I'm not saying that because I didn't notice no one else did, I'm saying I can't find any evidence of any one else noticing it either. Link me to evidence of being brought up in the past few months.

*affected

Thanks for the correction.
-
I actually messed up it’s affecting not affected, my bad
So I don't give two shits.
Cool story bro. But obviously lots of people do because there were tons of articles about this.
