I'm running i7 6700 1080ti 16GB RAM on 4k
Getting 40-60FPS but the mouse lags so hard it takes sometimes a WHOLE second before it moves on the screen. The whole game feels choppy like it was running below 20 FPS (I'm running the inbuilt counter and Fraps to make sure it doesn't) .
Seriously this makes this game unplayable.
Another thing is you can't change the resolution from the native to lower cause the game resets itself.
WHAT IS THIS GARBAGE PERFORMANCE AND OPTIMIZATION????

Override high dpi scaling. See video below

5 RepliesEdited by Space Ctaclar: 12/4/2017 2:29:04 AMSo the only two applications I have running, aside from the Battlenet app, are Corsair Utility Engine and Discord. I have not had a single issue with mouse lag until today when I purchased the DLC expansion pass. The only thing that changed for me aside from purchasing the pass was opening up CUE after I launched Destiny 2. It is the first time I've not had it running prior to opening the game. What gives? Did I somehow blacklist the engine by opening it while alt-tabbed? Did purchasing the expansion pass for some reason change something? The game is completely unplayable now. I've done what has been suggested in previous threads here and on reddit regarding disabling the DPI scaling and it made no difference nor did any of the other suggested methods to fix the issue. This is absurd. Edit: I've been away for the weekend and have CUE running and I'm not currently experiencing the mouse lag. Hopefully this issue has been resolved.

I'm having the same issue, it just happened today. Was playing fine earlier today and yesterday. No overlays or anything. Nothing on my system has changed since yesterday, it doesn't make any sense.

I noticed mouse lag when I wasn't running the game in Fullscreen. As soon as I switched to Fullscreen the issue stopped, so try that.

2 Repliesthat's a weird issue to have in current times. Have you tired. 1. Make sure you have the newest drivers for your video card? 2. Try turning off V-Sync? 3. Check device manager to see if you mouse is listed as a generic device? 4. If it is, try install the software. 5. Check for programs running in the back that may be hogging the CPU or RAM or both? 6. If you are overclocking, stop it. 7. Make sure your computer/video card is not over heating. 8. Maybe there is something wrong with your video card and or mouse. There is free software you can use to test your video card under different situations. Testing a mouse may be a bit harder, fore i have never had a mouse go "bad" before.

Take a look through the forum a bit and look at all the "stutter this" and "stutter that" posts you'll run across. Sounds like the same thing. I have it myself. We believe it is a common problem with the game, and bungie has thus far ignored it.
