Content of the DLC aside, do we really want to send the message to Bungie and Activision that we will buy their product no matter what? With all the uproar about Microtransactions, and the deliberately rigged Experience points system I think it's a good time to put the foot down.

1 ReplyI don't think so. I think bungie is going to address and TRY to fix any issues the community has at the moment.
-
The community should if serious promote... "A day without Destiny" But to ban dlc after people paid?.... not gonna happen.
-
I put in over 80 days on D1. Was a beta player. I am not buying this DLC.
-
1 ReplyI would if I hadn't already paid for it
-
1 ReplyEven though I can’t get a refund due to their deceptive pricing scheme on the pre-order, I’ll not be playing it. Skyrim and Shadow of Mordor will occupy my free time.
-
Stream cancelled for tomoro
-
1 ReplyThe dlc should be free if micro transactions are in the game publishers should look at battlefront 2 and halo 5 you can buy stuff to help in the game and all dlc is free, cod micro transactions are cosmetic
-
5 RepliesSoooo... what? You wanna boycott a DLC people have already paid for so people don't get what they paid for? Seems a little counterproductive to me and completely unnecessary just because you're salty over a video game that no one forced you to buy.
-
1 ReplyI’m not
-
1 Replyonly if you havent bought it yet... if you havent dont, if you did, might as well try to get some worth out of the money
-
3 RepliesCan't do that i bought the digital delux edition bungie well i already gave bungie all my money.
-
2 RepliesHell yeah even if you got season pass just dont play it.......who we kidfing we all are suckers and let them make fools of us
-
4 RepliesYeah, stop it dead in its tracks, just like Mass Effect: Andromeda. There should be no more production. Shut it down! Down with the man! Quit the boards! Play something else! Go to the beach! You should totally do this, man. All of it. Put your foot down; just watch out for my controller. Oh, NVM, it won't be on the floor. It'll be in my hands, playing with people who want to play....until I don't want to play. Then, I'll quit and do something else, but you won't hear about it because when I get to that point, I really won't give a shit, not even enough to post about it on the boards. But it's cool. Everybody does their own thing. It's groovy. Copacetic

I think that if you stop enjoying the game, community, etc. just send the message by not playing. Bungie monitors how many people connect to their servers pretty easily and regularly. If boycotting the game or DLC makes you happy - do it! I personally am not crazy about the direction of the game currently either but am also in the boat of those who were excited enough to buy the DLC package up front. However, no matter how good the game is, I have not - and refuse to spent any additional money on the engrams because shaders/sparrows/emotes are not the reason I enjoy the game. I will continue to enjoy the game for what it is and simply play other games like Overwatch when the community dies down waiting for the next big patch. I have many hours in D2 on top of my 2000+ hours on D1 so I feel the pain and I hope the game becomes more positive and enjoyable in the future. Cheers

9 RepliesI got the pack that comes with the first 2 DLC's.. And I tell you now.. I'm not logging on for sh!t! Bungie can die now for all I give a damn about! They let us down every time... EVERY TIME. They are pants... I'll not be touching destiny from now on...
-
they cant boycott it its a f*cking DLC stop being a c*nt
-
Wish it would happen, but there's no way a bunch of meme queens from this generation would ever become coordinated enough.
-
How bout as a community we all don’t log in for a weekend and show them that we can unite for what we believe so they make changes or something like that
-
What would be the point?
-
I dont think I am going to play it.
-
If you wanna immediate change then yes, you boycott. We all bitched and moaned for 4 years to have failure after failure but always kept buying. Change will be immediate if the lake stopped flowing.
-
I'm boycotting all things liberal until they stop destroying America.

31 RepliesEdited by SwankyButters: 11/28/2017 10:19:30 PMI don't know about a boycott but I bought Destiny 2 with the 2 expansions and I'm hearing there's not a new raid? I'm not sure if I'm reading this correctly but I read, "the big question has always been: will there be a new raid? - It seems the answer is no. Curse of Osiris will add a "raid lair" - that is, a new section to the existing Leviathan raid named Eater of Worlds" This is low even for bungie. Every expansion has had a new raid. I'm totally regretting ever buying the game in the first place. HOW could it not have a new raid. I'm mad and I don't even raid that much. I don't know what they are thinking. Do they WANT to kill their game? Do they just want to be done with it and move on to something else? Please, someone here help me understand how this is not the final, full on, kick in the nuts to the players? Please, details if anyone has any. I'm totally lost comprehending any of this.
