DLC Needed for Level Cap Removal?
Just a Small question, is there a level cap at level 20 if you dont own DLC? i see a lot of Level 20's and remember 34 being highest on Destiny 1... Just a small question is all

Even if you could you won't be able to play any endgame content

IDK how that will work, in D2, they kept changing it over the years with D1. I think some of the QoL stuff will continue forward and I expect the higher level or gear might too. But activities or content tied to the DLC would obviously be in accessible without access to the DLC. They have never gone over what will/ won't happen when a part of the player base decides not to buy a DLC or expansion. They are more concerned with pushing forward with the game the rest of player base has paid into.

6 RepliesIn D2 the level cap is currently 20. D1 level caps did not carry over to D2. The level cap will move to 25 when the curse of osiris is released. I am not sure if you need to purchase the dlc ro reach 25 or not though.
