Personally, I'd say Oryx. His lore is pretty interesting.

Bungie themselves????

7 RepliesHonestly I think it's us, we have no morals. We are reanimated corpses committing mass genocide on multiple races, without asking questions. What kind of idiot would listen to a figure such as the speaker and kill hundreds in the name of a non communicating inactive ball in the sky? The storytelling is just awful in Destiny

Oryx, for lore, Dreadnaught, 50 metre high Raid boss, and I got his sword.

4 RepliesI’d say Oryx, but the execution of his character was tragically terrible. We got a phenomenal build-up - from a story mission in the original campaign to tidbits of Lore through dead Ghosts - but the fact that we beat his physical form so easily was dismaying and, for me (at least), tore me away from a potentially gripping and masterful revival of the long-tormented story of Destiny. However, we haven’t really had many “villains”. We’ve simply had multiple objectives. Skolas is barely a villain, due to a lacking of development. Atheon is an objective, due to no build-up but a teaser tidbit in an original campaign mission. Aksis was an objective. So that leaves me with Crota; I don’t know why, but I’ve always wanted to see a cutscene of Crota trampling Guardians and bathing his sword in their blood and Light. The fact that we have met Eris Morn, one who had survived Crota’s wrath, provided us with a chilling motivation to conquer the god prince’s throneworld and take a large step toward reclaiming the night’s light, Luna - our moon. I personally think that Crota was probably my favorite. I did The Dark Below with one of my brothers, and it was the honest to god most fun ever. I'm biased though, that was the only time he ever played a game with me...

I would say either Oryx or Ghaul since they actually had some build up behind them and proper motivations as to why they do what they do, instead of being evil for the sake of being evil.

3 RepliesEither Randle the Vandal, or whoever chooses where the Cabal drop pods are supposed to land (probably the Architects). On a serious note, the Vex collective is probably the most powerful. Oryx and Calus have the best backstories and lore (I think Oryx has more though).
