You and your overlords are right in this guy's wheelhouse too. What will you do when the whole of Europe and possibly the U.S, your two largest markets, ban your microtransactions? You're no different than EA, and with your recent admission of guilt to throttling XP to drive microtransactions, you're gonna get smacked too. Good.

Now they see as Bungie can't keep the lies straight. Lets face it, only reason why you listen now is due to the fact you are getting crap. D1 was crap and people try to defend it. Sorry people but trying to say dog poop is not dog poop then putting perfume on it to make it smell good makes it still dog crap. D2 was going to be worse by many indicators and you all chose to ignore them. You can lie to people some of the time but not all the time. So if you listen next time to the only sane guy in the room you actually might not have to get a refund in the first place.

Seriously, this game has far more pressing issues than the cosmetic crap Tess sells. Who the hell cares when they get a bright engram? I mean, really. Fix the damn game first. I haven’t played in two weeks because there’s nothing to grind for. If you were grinding for XP/bright engrams, you have mental issues.

its hilarious that even after the huge EA lootboxes backlash , people on here still defend lootboxes :D lootboxes are the cancer of todays gaming , id gladly pay 100$ for a good complete game without lootboxes , but after the battlefront 2 incident a line was crossed and I wont buy any game with lootboxes from this point on , fu.ck that shit microtransactions especially lootboxes which are technically gambling for kids are not okay in full priced games , in free to play games they are acceptable at most , but even in free games you should always be able to buy only what you want , no random gambling you always lose money , some people especially children may spend more than they can afford because they cant control themselves , this system is designed to exploit such people just like casinos are

Bungie locked cosmetic garbage behind lootboxes that you can get within 3 hours (limited of course) or spend 20$ for quite a few of them. EA is LITERALLY suckering people out of their money by making you give in to your want of that character, and it's sickening. If I had to spend 40 hours to get 1 damn character, I would be suing too. Even For Honor gave in because of how furious people were. Xp limiting isn't as bad as locking actual content behind lootboxes and microtransactions my friend.

Personally, I think that microtransactions should be illegal in all online games that aren't "free to play". If greedy pubs and devs. don't like it & start crying about how much server maintenance costs are dipping into profits, fine then charge me a reasonably priced monthly subscription fee and we'll both be happy. I don't know, that's just my 2 glimmer.

13 RepliesYou realize that the EA setup gave players more than just cosmetics in their loot boxes right? They also had the in game rewards at a rediculous price. They were literally offering a competitive edge in a PvP based game. The entire gaming industry has microtranactions now. Most of them are cosmetic except in free to play games which are usually pay to speed progress.
