If it were F2P then yes. F2P with cosmetic cash shop I would. But in it's current state the game is worth maybe $15 total including the DLC's

My exact words are " it was once a great game that got nerfed to shi**. The developers try to make the game boring and made every change to provide less rewards for hard grinding" Absolutely not anymore!
-
I'd feel guilty doing it.
Heck no
-
Yes I do. Its a great game!
-
I wouldn't even recommend the free trial.

Recommending d2 to friends only results in less friends.

Edited by Microtransaction: 11/27/2017 8:29:37 PMTo the hardcore RPG grinder? No. To the casual gamer? Yes.

Depends who. Friends and family, no! I'm not that much of a -blam!-. This one guy at work, ye probably. -blam!- him.

I would have rather told people to vote for crooked Hillary

I like destiny 1, but for the love of God, I would not recommend destiny 2 to anyone. I picked up horizon when it first came out. Never opened it because of destiny. Now, I discovered that better games exist.

Told them it wasn’t even worth it at the Black Friday sales price. They still brought it. Now I just sit back and wait to say I told you so.
-
If said person likes to simply get high and shoot stuff, this game is actually perfect.
-
Didn't before, dam sure wouldn't after

Yawn Move along people, another pointless post
-
I would & did the first 2 weeks. Then I came to my senses, & realized this isn’t even close to the game I once loved.
-
I would recommend this game to no one but Bungie employees to see how messed up their game is

Depends on the person. A hardcore destiny player, I would give them a balanced perspective about what had improved over D1 (graphics, story), what was the same (the FPS mechanics), and what was taken away (it would be a long list). Then, I'd let them make up their own mind. Someone who was completely new to the game, I would suggest that of the two games, Destiny 1 was probably better and would offer more activities and likely be far cheaper. But if it was D2 they were focused on, I'd say it was an essentially acceptable FPS with some fantasy elements, worth a try. But I'd suggest they try to buy it used, since there are probably a lot of unwanted copies of it out there. And most important, I'd remind them that the basic mechanics of the game could be unexpectedly changed, possibly ruining it, like what happened with the special ammo nerf nine months ago. Sorry this post wasn't mindless hate, since I know that's what you're playing for. But that's not how I roll.

Sure, I would recommend it stating they could expect 60-100h (depending one or three characters) of good fun paired with excellent presentation. If they don't expect more beyond that, they can enjoy the game. If they expect a motivating long-time experience, it's probably the wrong game... for now (not all hope is lost).
-
If it's someone that only plays games one night a week and didn't play D1, then I would recommend after awhile when bundled with dlc for the same price. If they are a person that plays games every night instead of watching tv etc., then no I would not recommend.
-
Yes, so i could get them hooked on it for a few hours, then watch their mind burn after realizing what was behind the mask.
-
Of course I will!!! I already have!!!
-
-
Never

I have recommended that they shouldn't buy it, and they haven't.
